Context: Using this to connect my xbox series s to my astro mixamp tr over optical s/pdif.So this cheap little box surprised me a few times, the advertised specs definitely don't match up to my experiences - in fact they surpass the specs in several areas. For starters, this will do 4k60 and 1080p120 just fine, although there is no variable refresh rate support. It also seems to power itself through the HDMI input, I am using this device without plugging in the USB power lead.The only minor fault I can see with it is that the audio from the aux out is a little more bassy than that of the optical out.All in all, great product, highly recommended if you're in the same situation as me - wanting to connect headphones/amp to a next gen console using optical audio.

The unit works but the audio is exceptionally quiet so the amp has to be turned to the max to hear it

Picked this up to allow the continued use of my Turtle Beach headset with my PS5. With the new system not having an Optical out I needed a solution to allow me to use my existing gaming headset that I used with my PS4, and it worked a treat. Sturdy little box, simply plug and play, no software needed. Assuming you put the right wires in the correct port it is as simple to install as plugging as you would in the back of your game system or monitor/TV

Functions perfectly. No setup required. You just need the correct leads.

今まではモニターにHDMI接続でBlu-rayレコーダーやiPhoneを繋いで見ていた。モニターのイヤホンジャックからPC用の小型スピーカーにケーブル接続していたが、音質がこもって聴こえて不満だったのでこの製品を購入。結果、音質劇的に改善。人の声がはっきり聞こえる。音楽コンテンツも今まで埋もれていたベースの音がくっきり。　光音声出力もしてくれているので、サラウンドヘッドホンなどに使うと良いかも。電源SWがないのは、何故かな？前のレビューをみたら、付属の電源ケーブル接続しなくても作動すると有ったので、試みたところ、LEDも着くし、動作も変わらないので、ケーブルを一本でも減らすために接続しない事にしました。(以下追加)1ヶ月ほど使用していたら、スピーカーから、びー！と派手な音声が鳴り出したのが、2度続いたので、やっぱりUSB電源を刺してあげました。本当に必要無いのなら、わざわざ電源ケーブルもおごるはずがないと、納得。以後、誤動作などは有りません。

ＨＤＭＩ信号から映像と音声を分離できます。スピーカーや音声出力のないモニターにスピーカーを接続するのに重宝します。

サイズが思ってたより遥かに小さく使いやすいし場所を取らない。目的に合わせた使い方が出来てコスパ最高です。

コネクタが緩いのでひっかけると抜けちゃいますね。気を付けて

配線が簡便になる。crhomecastに接続して音楽用に使っています。
