Product Description This blend is known in Japan as Genmaicha, a Sencha Green Tea blended with roasted brown rice for a savoury and nutty profile. Legend has it that a Samurai beheaded his servant, named "Genmai", as he accidentally poured rice over the Samurai’s green tea. After realising that the rice actually enriched the taste of the tea, he decided to honour Genmai by naming the tea after him. Ingredients Japanese Sencha Green Tea and Toasted Rice.
