Rated 4/5 on assembly difficulty, would hate to see a 5. Having built ROKR piano and cello music boxes, this carousel is much more challenging. See some beautiful paint jobs. Parts need painted before assembly but do not paint tabs otherwise you'll be sanding the paint back off the tabs. My kit came without the wax but left-over from other kits. Not only wax where indicated on gears but also it helps to get tabs into slots. Be careful, may need some glue to then keep it together. Many parts are tiny and fragile. The challenge is rewarding but my overall time was about 12 hours.

This product was amazing. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and there were extra pieces for the smaller ones, in case you lost them. The design was very cute and accurate, and i felt that it was a perfect difficulty level for me. (it was definitely hard)

Looks adorable, but of course very tedious work, some of the pieces broke or wouldn’t stay put while I was building, and some of the pieces would catch when spinning and would pause the carousel, which was disappointing. Overall though I enjoyed the activity, this was not my first wooden puzzle and won’t be my last

Beautiful music box. A lot bigger than I imagined it would’ve been. Made it for my daughter, she loves it! The instructions were easy to follow, amazing detail, and was able to build this one without breaking any pieces! Learned from building these wooden puzzles having super glue is super handy in case you do.

Pieces fit together very tight which made it a night mare to assemble. Pieces are fragile too. I don't recommend this puzzle.

Got too many thoughts in your head? try putting this together, you will learn to concentrate and be delicate and pay more attention to what is in front of you then the things you can’t control around you. ❤️❤️❤️ I spend so much time worrying about everything around me to the point I am over anxious cause I have no other outlet to set it towards. I found that working on THIS, help to stop the cluttered mind. It helps to slow the thoughts down to just what you are working on. Oh and keep some OPPS Preston glue while working on this project. Yea the balsa wood is thin on some parts. Oh and if you have patience and talent- paint the pieces first on the boards before you assemble. I didn’t think of that till after I put it all together, then it’s too late. I’m sure ink pens would work too if you seal the wood first so it doesn’t spread. Penciles will not work 🙁

I give up the first time we bought this there was an entire sheet missing so another product was sent out to me and upon parting it together, and even though we got all the parts this time it's a carousel and the holes need to line up and they just don't. It's easily breakable if you try too hard and you can't just stretch wood so I would not recommend buying this product considering I've been through it twice now.
