if you're concerned with things like that. If you want the original part
Installed for upstream replacements on 2007 Fusion V6.Compatibility note: The REAR (right) bank sensor is a direct replacement match for the OEM sensor (NGK/NTK is the OEM part supplier). However, while the NGK/NTK website clearly states that this is the correct sensor for BOTH upstream sensors, and does not list another option for the FRONT (left) bank, it also does not state that the OEM sensor for the front bank, while is the same sensor, has a much shorter harness from the factory. It is very simple to re-route the harness further toward the end of the front valve cover to solve this issue (primarily to keep the harness away from the cooling fan(s)), it is not the exact same part, if you're concerned with things like that.If you want the original part, you'll have to purchase the Motorcraft/Ford part, which is still an NTK sensor, but will have the correct length of harness/wiring.Personal experience: NTK sensors are the ONLY correct sensors for many Ford vehicles. Using other brands (including premium brands like Denso) may result in poor engine performance and/or poor fuel economy.I'll also mention that these sensors are notorious for dying slowly once reaching past 100k miles. They should be changed as frequently as iridium spark plugs (100-120k). Ignoring spark plug/oxygen sensor replacements can lead to poor fuel economy, loss of engine performance and/or damage to emission components. On this application, I was able to rectify a 4-5 MPG average economy loss from aged sensors.ONLY upstream sensors require replacement for this purpose as the post-catalyst sensors are only for measuring catalyst efficiency.

Great product. Save your money, dont buy or (rebranded) parts for twice as much!
I bought this because I needed new upstream and downstream o2 sensors on my 2008 f350 6.8l.I went against the recommendation of every one on the ford pages and decided to go with ntk instead of spending a lot more money on motorcraft...well when I pulled the original o2 sensors out, they were the same sensor...literally had ntk and motorcraft stamped on the side of it..the only difference between the original "motorcraft" sensors and these is that these dont have motorcraft stamped on them...great product. I love NGK/NTK

My 2006 Ford Fusion was having a lot engine problems (stuttering, backfire, etc) and high fuel usage. Check engine light came on said o2 sensor stuck. Replaced with this NGK sensor. All problems solved.

The car ran great the whole way and the gas mileage returned to ...
This summer my wife's 2009 Mariner had a sudden gas mileage decrease of about 3 mpg. With about 73k miles on it I suspected it could be the O2 sensor even though there was no check engine light on. I bought the NGK 22012 and installed it just before a 1500 mile trip. The car ran great the whole way and the gas mileage returned to it's original level. I bought it at Napa, it was about $10 cheaper than Amazon and they have it in stock so no waiting for shipping. If you have never replaced an O2 sensor, I would recommend a GOOD quality O2 sensor socket type remover and a big breaker bar. (I used a 24" breaker bar and was glad I had it) The new sensor had lots of anti-seize on the threads so it might be easier to remove when the time comes.Over all it took about 1/2 hour to install and has already almost paid for itself in gas savings!
