Chops/dices potatoes super easily!
If you want diced potatoes, this is your tool! Cut the potatoes into segments and place them in this tool and push close - diced potatoes! The bin holds about three small/medium potatoes worth of dice. It'll do onions also, but onions are a bit mushier, and the tool needs to be cleaned out every so often. I haven't tried any other foods...

Does What it is Supposed to Do
I can't say too much about this product, except that it does what it is supposed to do. The blade cut well and seems to be pretty sharp. I like the inner rubber ring that is used to clear the top portion of the product of left over vegetable. I think it makes a great onion chopper but not sure about using it for too much else. It takes a bit of strength to push the top down to cut into anything that is semi hard, like a potato.

Great OXO product!
Love it! I chopped four onions, zip-locked and put in the freezer for future meals. Easy to use and clean

Not a good choice
I bought this based on a Consumer reports recommendation, but I was misled. I was concerned when there were absolutely no instructions included. The label in the lid saying "Press here to snap purple grid into place" is confusing since pressing there will do nothing, but it did make me curious about removing the grid. It is a cleaning aid. However, after removing and replacing the grid, the first time I closed the device the plastic grid fell off and was cut up by the blades. It will now no longer stay in place as designed, although another reviewer showed a photo of putting it in sideways, which does help, though more difficult to remove. The container is small, so it must be emptied frequently so it does not overflow out the back. "Wet" items, such as tomatoes and other juicy items, stick to it and do not simply pour out. In fact, my experience with tomatoes is not good, since they also get stuck in the blades, or run down the sloped front of the device onto the counter. I could not find out how to take the body of the device apart for cleaning, until I saw another user's video. In short, I would not buy this again. See photos for illustration of some of these issues.

Good chopper
Works great! It is not for finely chopped stuff.

Doesn't work
Apparently OXO decided to show me how much in visible tape or glue they had in the factory. I was unable to open the (most important) access port which would have allowed me to put, say, food to be chopped into that port. OXO's customer service does not address such minor issues as "how do you make this simple machine work." Sending it back, if I don't decide to take a sledgehammer to it. A P***ed off former customer.
