Ravishing Rose e.l.f. Cruelty free is top priority to me
I bought Ravishing Rose and I am very pleased with the product. It is super easy to apply and your lips stay hydrated. The only reason I bought from this company is the fact they are cruelty free and they don’t sell their products in countries that require animal testing to be sold. Animals don’t have to suffer because we, women, love to “decorate” ourselves with makeup.

Lovely!
This lipstick came promptly and was in perfect condition. I don't normally purchase cosmetics sight unseen, but the price was awesome, so I thought I'd try it. It's perfect. I'm not very photogenic, sorry for the duck face! You cannot beat the price. I am very fair, with red and purple hair and freckles and the color is bright without being garish. My best friend is fair, but she is cool toned, with blond hair, and the color looks great on her too! My mom has olive toned skin, and guess what? Yes, she looks great in it as well. I think it would also be very lovely on very dark skin as well. If you aren't sure whether to order or not, look at the price again. Then just add it to your cart. You want it. And if for some reason it doesn't look good on you, you know you have a friend it will look good on!

Ravishing Rose
Now, with lipstick I always use lip-liner — but the Ravishing Rose lipstick is a really nice, true rose color. The lipstick is also very smooth and not sticky feeling like how some lipsticks are. Pictured, me wearing e.l.f. Ravishing Rose moisturizing lipstick after scrubbing my face clean (excuse my raw looking skin, I had to make sure I got all the previous makeup off first!); I had outlined my lips with an e.l.f. matte lip color pen (Tea Rose), which I did not like, as it looked grayish/nude on my lips - but this lipstick looks great though, and looks like a true rose color!

Maybe it’s pretty but I can’t tell bc it smelled so intensely bad I couldn’t wear it
Couldn’t wear it bc it had so much perfume in it that within .02 seconds my lips felt sucked of all moisture. Chemical fragrance drys out your skin and ages you. It’s completely unnecessary. If you really need some fragrance then use an essential oil that has some skin benefits. (But dont put to much in bc to much natural fragrance is bad as well.) It sucks bc the color is really nice and the price great. When I’m trying out new shades I like to buy less expensive brands bc if I don’t like it it’s not like I’m out $10-$25. I couldn’t even decide if I liked the color on me bc my lips felt instantly mummified. Plus the perfume was super cheap smelling. Like a $3 “gift set” of perfume, lotion and body wash that your cheap relative gives you for Christmas. Or even worse like the remnants of perfume in the old school Avon perfume bottles, the kind that came in bottles that looked like everything from cars to swans to clowns that your grandma collected.

Wears off in the worst way
Uggh...I love this color with a passion. But, this lipstick will not stay put and wears off in the worst way. Made my lips peel quite a bit or look really bad. Man, I want to love this lipstick because the color is awesome. But, it now resides in the trash can. I'm glad I didn't pay very much for it.
