Great for holding fragile items in place!
I bought this tape in hopes of keeping my table lamps safe. I recently bought table lamps to put behind my couch on my sofa table. With 5 kids I was worried about them getting knocked off. I wanted something to hold them in place without ruining my custom homemade table. The bottom of the lamp is a rubbery surface. The tape didn’t stick super well, but it stuck enough. (Directions say it doesn’t stick well to porous bumpy surfaces.) It stuck great to my table. I had to reposition one of the lamps and it came off the table without a problem. I could tell it stuck well to the table, but I’m pretty confident that it shouldn’t rip off the finish if I choose to remove the tape later in the future. Once in place, when I tried moving the lamps, they stayed put. My only concern is if it will stay stuck to the lamp surface. If there is a big blow to one of the lamps, it may come loose. Maybe I could super glue the tape to the lamp? So far I’m pleased. I didn’t want to use standard double sided tape or Velcro like my friends were suggesting. I’m glad I found this option. It’s better than no tape, and it’s better than ruining my table!

Super stretchy
This tape is really easy to use. I am currently using some of this tape for some pictures in my office. A lot of the pictures I'm hanging are 5x7's, a couple of 8x10's and I have 1 16x20 that I just hung up. With this tape, I'm not only able to but the strips however long I want but if I need to cut them thinner, I can. I did have one up that I didn't like and when it came to removing it, I was able to grab a piece of extra tape that I had hanging underneath and I pulled it. I found this is so much easier when it comes to just trying to rip it off of the wall. When you stretch the tape, whatever you having hanging or holding on a wall, the tape not only comes off easier but it doesn't damage the wall. Plus with the tape that I took off of the wall, I was able to wash it with some soap and water and then leave it to dry. Once it's dry you can reuse it. I suggest saving the plastic coverings if you don't plan on reusing the tape again. Saves yourself from having to rewash. Really simple to use and is very sticky.

Amazing!
For as long as I can remember, my home office desk has consisted of a 3 by 5 butcher block set on two 2-drawer filing cabinets. Although I used a one foot section of velcro to try and hold them together, they invariably moved about. When I saw an ad on TV for Alien Tape, I was intrigued, so I searched for it on Amazon and found this alternative. Cutting 1 1/2" sections of tape and mounting them on each corner on the top and bottom of each file cabinet, I was able to secure the cabinets to the granite tile floor and to the butcher block. It now feels as secure as if it were a one piece unit, bolted to the floor. I also do not believe I will have any problem disassembling the "unit" should I need to rearrange the furniture.I don't know how effective it is on holding lightweight pieces on a vertical surface, but for securing heavy pieces across multiple materials, it is amazing.

Sticks!!
This tape is easy to use but be careful what you stick it to. I experimented in my garage and it held a heavy light to the wall for several days. When I went to take it down the paint came with it.This tale is not a replacement for 3M Command Strips but it sure has its uses and is cheaper. Worth checking out!

Sticky Tape
I was looking for something to hold my bulbs in my ceramic tree and though I would give this a go. It works just fine. The tape is sticky enough to hold everything in place. And it’s the perfect thickness, I did have to double up for the Angel in the top. And after fixing my tree I have plenty of tape left for other things that arise. This is some heavy duty tape.

NOT Safe For Walls! :(
We got this because it said it was good for artwork, which alludes to it being safe to use on walls. Well, we hung a poster up on the wall and it was crooked. When we tried to reposition the poster, it ripped the poster AND destroyed my walls! The product description said it was re-usable and based on the reviews we thought that if needed, it would be safe to reposition the poster. As you can see from the pictures that is not the case. :(The instructions said to cover the edges when hanging a poster. We followed the instructions and all it did was destroy a poster and our walls. If we knew that it would stick so strongly to the poster and the walls we would not have used this. Needless to say the tape is now in the trash and we are now having to go in search of paint.I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I felt the need to warn those who are planning on using this on their walls to be very cautious.

Great hold. Buy it! Just remember it’s not a Command Strip.
This is so cool! Just FYI…it may remove any paint or wallpaper you adhere it to. It’s meant to hold, tight. It’s not like a command strip that comes off easily, without damage, so just be aware of that. I’ve used this to hang up just about everything that would normally need screws. I even used it into secure wall-corner grooming combs for my cat…and he aggressively uses that comb and it’s still holding strong.

Hang on the wall with the clear tape y’all
I really love it but somethings don’t hold up on the wall as well and it could’ve been just a little bit more thicker I haven’t rinsed it to reuse it yet but all in all I think it’s pretty good I would buy again
