Sturdy, tall, needs a lot of muscle to put together
First off, this is a tall and very sturdy metal coat tree. It's mainly welded metal and seems like it can hold about as much weight as you could put on it.I read a few reviews that mentioned it was "hard" to put together and figured it was Ikea-directions hard. Wrong. This thing is Dwayne The Rock Johnson levels of hard. Putting it together conceptually is simple with a little common sense. Fit the smaller metal tubes into the bigger metal tubes and secure them with a few bolts.Where it gets hard is that it was clearly designed to perfectly fit, before the metal coating was added. In order to make the tubes fit together you have to torque them back and forth in the hole with the power of an enthusiastic CrossFitter until enough coating is ground off that they finally insert. And forget about using a rubber mallet to tap them firmly together, these are twisty turny metal pieces with no perpendicular angle to tap. If you try sanding off the coating be prepared for unsightly scratches if you slip the tiniest bit. This thing is great value and I think it'll last for a long time. If you have someone who loves to unscrew jars and can change a tire with a just a wrench and their pure glorious forearm strength, this is the perfect project for them. If you're a normal human, be prepared for sore arms and a lot of sweaty cursing.

Elegant and functional, but with a drawback
This coatrack was very easy to assemble and looks great! I love how it gives me lots of places to hang my things. On the highest hooks I hang my coats. Then as I go down I have room for scarves, winter gloves, and other miscellaneous outdoor wear. But I will say, that the one drawback to this rack is how light it is. Because of its weight, it is very easy to move from one location to another. You can do this one handed; with ease. But because it is so light, it has a tendency to tip over when pulling off a coat from the upper most hook. I've had more than one occasion where I didn't lift my coat off the hook completely and was 'pulling' the rack as I was removing my coat. The rack isn't heavy enough to offset this, so it has tipped toward me. I've always been able to catch it in time. And when I catch it, the rack is light enough to set upright quite easily.Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. Could it be improved? Yes.

Attractive
Love the looks of coat tree. But unfortunately rather unstable and cheaply made.

Nice looking Coat rack
It was pretty for my Foyer, and pretty sturdy even for our heavy coats. It was fairly easy to put together, but I had read the reviews of how it can be challenging and used the tips that were provided from other consumers. I would highly recommend.

Love it!
Very easy assembly. Not big/bulky like most wooden ones, stronger than wooden stands, an "artsy" piece.
