Very good insole for basketball
I would play basketball on the weekend and then followed by a week of ankle pain for all these year. Not until recently that I found out that I am a flat footer and that is why the foot pain. After some researches I brought the Powerstep Low version, that was good for casual walk but not enough support for basketball. So I go on and tried this Maxx Support version and it feels right. It took me around 3 weeks to get used to it but after that my ankles are pain free. Very good product. The only complain I have is that orange logo on the insole. That orange pigment dye right onto my socks after an hour of wearing.

Great relief from arch pain
Have tried numerous others and nothing compared to the relief I received from these supports. They were recommended to me by my podiatrist instead of spending a lot more on custom inserts. I am using 3 pair of these and highly recommend them.

the best orthotics I have used in 30 years
These orthotics are great. They provide the arch support my high arches require. And they have a thick foam pad in the heel which is super for sore heels. After wearing a pair of ultra comfortable (worn out) shoes with orthotics, my feet were very sore to the point of not being able to walk on them. After putting these into a lace-up pair of athletic shoes for lateral support, my feet were almost as good as new after a few days. I actually noticed the difference in one day! And they are made in the U.S.A.Buy them, you will not be disappointed.

Good inserts for many, but not for me
I have extremely flat feet with significant pronation at the ankle. I tend to have sore feet after a 9 to 12 hour shift at work. I walk around the hospital ALL day long and rarely get to sit down. When I first tried these inserts I knew there would be a "breaking in" period for my feet to adjust to the support. At first these felt bulky in my shoes. They are a little on the thick side, and I had to loosen my laces as far as they would go to prevent my shoes fitting too tightly. To me these are a little too rigid in the arch. It feels more like the arch support in the insert is pushing into my foot vs supporting my foot. It does have a slight wedge built into the heel for an attempt to control the arch of your foot with more talocrual control in your ankle. Since my pronation is more than the average person this insert just felt too rigid and more forcing my foot into a position and not controlling my pronation from the root of the problem. I personally need more control at the talocrual joint and less in the arch itself. These would feel very uncomfortable initially when I put them in my shoes, then after about 2 hours it did get a little better, but that was short lived and I would begin to have progressively worsening foot pain by the end of the day. I tried to wean my time with these but it still didn't help.I do want to mention that these do seem to be made very well. They arrived just as described. They do not slip in the shoes. I felt I would give them a try because they are advertised to be for moderate pronation of the foot. My pronation is just too much for these. If you have a basic understanding of your foot problems and know that you have mild to moderate pronation of the ankle and still have some arch in your foot then I am sure these will work much better for you. There is definitely a huge population that these inserts will work well for. However, I would think about a different type of support if you know you have severely fallen arches/significant pronation of the foot.
