Wild and open water swimming is a growing phenomenon in the UK and Europe so we couldn't think of a better place to test our products! If you are an open water swimmer this is the tow buoy for you! Made from tough and durable nylon with PVC coating it is completely waterproof and floats effortlessly behind you. It has 3 carry straps making it easy to transport and to hang on to when you need a rest. The waist strap is fully adjustable and the tether is attached to the buoy with a carabiner, so can be removed with ease. This tow buoy has a one way inflation valve so blowing it up is simplicity itself. When you're done simply open the whole valve and it folds away neatly. It is fluro green/ hi-viz yellow (whichever you prefer to call it!) and can be seen from a very long way away. We swam in some terrible weather conditions in North Wales (getting wet anyway!) and our spotter could see these buoys long after he lost sight of us. Be seen, be safe – you won’t be missed! Boaters, paddlers, jet-skiers and surfers will know you are there and you can swim in complete safety. Most wetsuits are black and so swimmers run the risk of being missed, but towing this HUT buoy makes sure that you will be safe at all times. The size is great too – fully deflated it measures 57cm x 30cm (slightly shorter length when inflated).
