2 years later kid still loves it
Son's been using it for a couple years now. It has been an absolutely wonderful bed. He really loves it. You really can't go wrong with it. I use zip ties to add attachments like a fan, lantern, charge cable, etc. Easy peasy. You can get pretty creative with this thing. I put a camo net over ours, he loves it. It's his fort and his bed and his hiding place. He really enjoys this thing. For the price honestly, very smart buy. Doesn't require super high ceilings, light enough to scoot around the room with some help if you want to rearrange things for a fresh look.

As pictured
This item is as pictured and very sturdy. All pieces were in good condition other than one piece that didn't have holes drilled. The only complaint would be the instructions are terrible, and it took us about 4 hours to complete. Other than the instructions, very happy with the purchase.

Awesome bed! But takes a while
Took a long time to build, but it was so worth it!! My girls love it!! It really is amazing

Easy to build!
My toddlers love it. It does wobble a bit when my 3 year old is moving around in the top bunk and climbing the ladder. The top twin bunk area is a bit bigger than twin sized mattress, so there is a gap that we put blankets in.

My 3 year old sleeps in her own room all night and plays in there all day now! Mission Accomplished!
10/10 would recommend! We bought our 3 year old daughter her first big girl bed and we can’t keep her off it (she finally stopped sleeping in our bed every night!) If you can work with Legos and know how to use a screwdriver you can assemble this frame (careful not to mix up the hardware though). It is very sturdy and well made. My daughter has a small bedroom and this fit in her room very well after organizing and cleaning her room. I paid half the price for this bed frame on Amazon with shipping than I would have paid on Home Depot.com with free shipping…a total of $745 in savings. It arrived 5 days after I ordered it in 3 heavy boxes. The white gets dirty easily and the wood can have imperfections in the finish. You have to be careful to fasten the pieces together straight or else it will look crooked. The slide is sturdy, but steep and fast! We browsed a furniture store and the price and value for a bed frame there versus on Amazon.com made us leave the store to make a purchase online instead… and we are happy with that decision! I wish there was under bed storage and you have to watch your head when getting into and out of bed. It’s a bonus not having to buy bed springs, but the bottom bed does feel like you’re laying on the floor. It is hard to make the beds. My daughter is very secure in the top bunk, even with a 10 inch mattress on top and a 12 inch mattress on bottom. Overall, I’m very satisfied!

Difficult assembly: 3 plus hours
Difficult assembly, and it hasn't held up over the last year. Lots of wear and tear.

Sturdy
We’ve had this for about 6 months now. No problems. Sturdy. My kids have not slept on the top bunk but do play on top and use the slide. No issues.

SPLITTING SLATS ARE UNSAFE!!
Do not buy this product. My mother, father, and I tried to put this together on Saturday for my daughter's birthday which was on Sunday. She was turning 5. We first noticed all the bolts and screws and anything used to hold it together was thrown in one large bag and it was unlabeled. My mother who taught school for 35 years sat in the floor measuring every single screw and making piles according to their size. My father and I were trying to peice it together and by the time we started on the top we noticed holes that were missing, screws that were missing, big cracks and gashes in the wood, and places splintering. I thought maybe I could sand it down so maybe my child wouldn't be let down on her birthday. Well... thats a big fat NO. Half of the slats on the top bunk and many on the bottom are splitting down the middle. It is not safe for anyone to be on the top bunk. There are peices that do not meet, it is uneven in places, and some of the peices were already cracked before we even got the screws in. This bed is super rough with splintering wood everywhere, so much in fact, that my veteran father who was a carpenter and machinists for over 36 years got a splinter jammed up under his thumb nail just by picking up a slat that was splintered on the bottom side. We didn't know it was that bad coming straight out of the box. I called Amazon and reported everything. I told them I took pictures and for the amount that paid plus the shipping that there should not be any splitting in the slats or cracks in the frame and items should not be missing. They reached out the this seller on Saturday. Amazon told me they would contact me within 48 hours. This is Wednesday, 96 hours later and still nothing. My little girl had a perfect bed before but wanted something to utilize as a book and activity center. She loves for me to read to her. So, I thought this would be awesome for us to use, but I was wrong. I'm a teacher of 13 years and I should have known better than to buy a bed off of Amazon. Long post.. but don't waste your time or your money. I run an after school program, teach school, and work another part-time job to support my child. I saved up for this bed and my daughter can't even use it. I asked for parts to replace from Amazon and nothing. Not even an email or a phone call. Now, I want a full refund for this useless bed. The slats are cracked and splitting apart and I will not put my child in it. It is a Hazzard. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for the defective parts, not responding to the concern of the dangerous parts, and not even sending replacements. I asked for replacements in my call, but now I will call back today for a refund and tell them to come get their death trap. PARENTS (if you bought this) MAKE SURE YOUR SLATS ARE NOT SPLITTING APART. I would hate for your children to get hurt on behalf of their disconcern of safety.
