It's a really pretty little instrument, and sounds excellent out of the box. Really nice just to play around with as all the notes are in one key.

It is a perfect instrument for when tou are on the go. It came tuned and has great sound quality. You'll love it.

If you want to check out a kalimba before committing to a more expensive purchase without the luxury of trying one out in person, this will get the job done fine. I don't exactly have another nor have I played another to which I can compare it. It works. It's in tune. It came as advertised on time. I don't expect to hit the recording studio anytime soon with the thing. I'm just slightly hesitant to give it 5/5 stars because it feels a tad cheap. Then again, it is. So...? Now I can say I own a kalimba. Yay! It's a very cool little instrument and portable. If you want a nicer one, you're going to have to pay more. Facts. Some of the outer tines don't sound great BUT, I read that may be normal. Otherwise, it's 5/5 stars for $25. Perfectly fine. Kids would enjoy it. A good tester and if you end up that committed to playing, you can keep this one for traveling or give it away. No big deal.

my husband rick is a big fan of instruments, unfortunately, due to his job he is rarely ever home so i got this for him as a surprise :) it comes in a tiny brown box, which is a thick papery material that is very sharpie friendly :) the paper did not leave any residue on the sharpie even after i wrote my apology for seeing multiple other men, including our neighbor, while he was away :) rick enjoyed the gift so much that upon recieving it, he cried with joy (i think he was impressed with the good quality) and even locked himself in his room for hours just to learn how to play it :D 10/10

I ordered 2 for boys who are 11 years old. I wanted something to get them away from the video games. These are Christmas gifts, so I don't know yet if they'll like them. I think they will because the sound they make is beautiful. Yes, I tried it out.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for a friend's kid. The quality of sound is excellent. It comes with a nice bag. A tuning hammer and rubber thumb-tip covers also included. There is a little handbook that make it easy to clean some songs and music theory. Very nice quality instrument, great value for the money! Shipping was super fast. Received it the second day! Can't be happier with my purchase. Will buy it again.

I really like the sound of this... I am really a beginner and found the booklet hard to read. I do not read music in any way... I find myself just making up little tunes as I go, and once I got use to which notes went together, I started to enjoy it.... My hands are on the small side, but I had no issue holding this. I do not really like the little thumb covers. I did not get the stickers, which honestly is okay, as I would rather find something nicer looking... Over all, I am happy with my purchase. The price is pretty good and all I need know is to learn how to tune it...

Llegó antes de lo esperado, a mi parecer tiene buena acústica y trae todos los elementos que menciona la descripción.
