Perfect for anyone to use. I mix 1 teaspoon in hot water with a squeeze of lemon and honey. Soothe your throat. I also use this for toothaches. Definitely worth to keep on your shelves and safe.

This is the real thing and not some extract. I've been using NOW products for years and I recently tried a different brand of the slippery elm and it wasn't even slippery elm but I got this one and it is the real deal. Works so well for my gut issues and has an ok taste and is easy to mix and even the color is the right color. I found out about slippery elm from Dr. Barbara O'Neill and it works wonders. There's no smell at all. It helps my stomach and even throat.

This is a powder form and the taste is nutty and perfect for tea it has a fall kinda vibe :) Lets talk about what it does... it's called SLIPPERY elm for a reason it makes you more slippery in all the right places. *Not for women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant as it can cause miscarriage. This WORKS and pretty fast with in 24 hours for me. I only use it as needed and I don't think it's to be used continuously, so do your research. I mix it with a hand held frother. It is kinda clumpy a fork works too. This is also great for joint pain ... any lube in the body :)

I purchased this same product last year and it seems as if the consistency has changed. Last time when mixing it with water it would form a thicker, paste-like consistency. This bottle I purchased last month does not thicken. It is more like a gritty tea, which defeats the purpose of drinking this to help coat the stomach/esophagus lining. It seems like they changed something with this product. I will not be purchasing this again. I have purchased several supplements from the NOW brand and have been pleased. Now I am very leery about buying this brand again.

I bought these to help my diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating and flatulence caused by 20+ years of type 1 diabetes. This has truly been helpful. I take these along with physicians choice probiotics. It took several weeks to find the right combo and dose that works best for me. I can finally live outside of the bathroom and make it through the night as well. These gave me extra help. My gut is finally comfy and having mostly regular BM's twice daily instead of all day and night. Don't get discouraged, it may take time for these to work. When I skip a dose, I definitely have bad changes in my BMs. Very greatful to have this product. Doctors have no clue what to suggest. I had to discover this stuff on my own, which is ridiculous! Doctors seem to want you sick. Great product. Quality of life is back!!!
