Mpow EG3 Recommended
Mpow EG3 is one of the most comfortable headsets around compared to Razer Kraken and Steelseries 3. These headphones are well built and lightweight, the cord is long enough and sturdy. The sound quality is excellent, they hit the highs well and the lows well enough just as good as the Steelseries. However, the bass on the Mpow do not sound as good as the Razer Kraken but it's not a big deal if you don't care for a ton of deep bass. The microphone quality is clear but very sensitive to picking up surrounding noises. The mute is on the microphone itself which can be a problem for some. However, the overall quality of the Mpow EG3 is there, it's plug and play, it's 7.1 surround, it's comfortable, and you can not go wrong for the price as opposed to $80+ headsets. Did I mention they look awesome and light up? They do. It's awesome. I enjoyed the first pair so much I had to go for a second.

I like them but...
Don't let all those reviews fool you; anyone can afford $20 headsets, so there's going to be a lot of cheap 5 star reviews. Here's my honest review of a good value product, but it doesn't deserve 4 or even 5 starts. (I was not paid or solicited for this review).1 week into this headset and I can say sound quality is inferior to my modest Logitech G430's (I have 2 pair). Music (I prefer bands like Yellowcard & Blink182) feels "flatter", almost muddied and smothered by the bass...feels like I'm listening to a cassette tape; mids and treble aren't nearly as clean. That being said, it's still decent sound for the price. With gaming (Overwatch & Destiny2) again, I don't get the range and clarity I do with the Logitech G430, but for now they'll do and no one's complained about the audio. I'm not sure how long the materials will stand up...if I get a year, I'll be happy. I am concerned about the mic boom...none retractable/rotatable. I would have paid a bit more for a mic boom that I can swing away or that could retract into the speaker housing. The braided cable is super thick, ~2x thicker than my G430's and the metal headband looks pretty durable. As I found out with 2nd set of Logitech G430's, it's the plastic bolted to the metal band that will start to crack and I'm hoping MPow used higher quality plastics that can withstand the metal band flexing on/off multiple times an hour as the pleather earcup covering retains heat/moisture over my ears. The cable connection to the USB connector feels good but not super strong. As the USB connector housing is very long, I'm worried if I accidently bump the front of my computer I'll break it (obviously I can avoid this if I use a USB port at the back of my computer). In summary, pretty decent build, comfortable initial fit, acceptable sound quality; a good value gaming headset. But the fixed mic boom is an annoyance and your ears will get warm and clammy. If you're looking for a competitive edge and want to hear your opponents footsteps as they try to sneak up on you...spend a bit more.Followup review, 4 weeks later. The MPOW folks take their products very seriously and reached out to see how they could make it better. They offered me a chance to review the MPOW EG8 which, in my opinion, is a better choice for gaming. Amazing value
Amazing for the price. Very good audio quality and a clear microphone. I did a side by side with an $80 pair of sennheiser headphones I have, and I would have to say the sound quality on these are a bit better.

Excellent for voice recognition
I use this headset primarily for voice dictation and I am very surprised at its accuracy and quality for the price. It is very comfortable and relatively lightweight and delivers good sound through the headset. I am very impressed once again for the price. I highly recommend this product.

Steal for the Price!
Received my headset pretty quick with prime. I did have a little bit of an issue installing the software but it was on my end lol the sound of these are really good for what you pay for. They are not heavy on your head and are not deadly tight like some other headsets.

Great for the price
Good sound and picks up my voice great. My only complaint is the mute button is on the mic which is a little awkward because it makes a lot of noise muting yourself that way. Great value though.

Good sets of headphones for kids
I've been letting my kids (3 and 4 y/o) use some of my spare sets of headphones to watch tv, but they've been wearing them out. So I found these for them instead. The headphones look nice, and have a few interesting features. They plug into the left side. And you can plug another set of headphones on the right side to chain off the other side. It's pretty interesting. Though personally I just use a splitter this way they're not tied to each other. There is a sound limiter on the cord. You can switch it between 85dB and 94dB. All it does is increase/decrease the volume a bit. The 94dB is meant to let you listen a bit louder than the 85dB limit, in case you are in a particularly loud area (eg. a plane).I've not had them long enough to speak to the durability of them. But the cord is braided, which is a big plus. My daughter gnawed on the cord of my last set, so I'm a bit more comfortable with this at least. These are over-ear headphones, which I prefer for the kids. Because using on-ear headphones is not great for long periods of time like watching episodes of tv. Any pair I've tried, the kids have always complained about their ears being sore after. But not with these.Bought these for $37.99. I'm happy with them, and the kids are too.

Good value headphones
Cute kids headphones. My kids age 8 and 10. Daughter used to complain about other headphones squishing her earrings. No complaints with this one. I tried them on, will fit adult with adjustable band. Comfortable cushion but feels like it would be sweaty on a hot day. Plastic feels smooth and soft with matte finish. Kids are happy with it, but I wouldn't pick the same finish or colours for myself.Folding mechanism is handy, but hope the joint holds up to kid use. The connection to link 2 headphones is nice feature as well. They can share zoom meetings, music, videos on one device. We hook up to digital piano as well and they can practice quietly and I can hook in to check on practice as well. Happy with another mpow purchase.

Great Headphones!
These are great. Very sturdy and great sound. Even cancel noise although I don't think they are even advertised as noise canceling! And I love that they have the ability to connect the headphones so the kids can both listen to the same media. I already had a pair of adult MPOW headphones and decided to get these for my kids. Great products!

Children enjoying their new headphones
Headphones arrived today well packaged and as advertised. Kids tried them out right away and said that they were very comfortable as the earphone pads and headband pad are soft and don't put any pressure on my kids' ears and head. The sound quality is good ("very good" according to my kids). Iike the fact that the volume has only 2 settings (85db and 94db), microphone and multifunction button (not sure yet it's purpose - probably to play, pause songs). Picture on Amazon shows an on and off button to control the volume (On = Volume limited to 85db and Off = disable volume limit); however, on the ones I purchased indicate 85 db and 94db. The wire is long and appears to be well made. The wire seems like it won't tangle. They fold nicely and are portable. The headband is adjustable and they even fit me. The kids love the share ports and so do we- they can listen to the same thing at the same. Will update my review once the kids use them more. So far, very happy with the purchase.

Right Price for the Right Headphone for Kids
Looking for something for my kids to use while they are learning from home! These pairs of headphones are great for them. Build quality is good. Sound quality is good for kids. Size is good for my 9 years and 7 years. Like the folding function, easy to carry. Overall a great purchase!
