Great for spiders
These are great to use for spiders such as brown recluses. We have what I would call an infestation of them, and I place these strategically along baseboards and catch so many that it freaks me out. They're very common in our region, and their bite is very nasty. A few years ago we had quite a.few mice get on the glueboards, but we found their way into the house and put a stop to it. There is no stopping the spiders. We used to spray around the baseboards from time to time as well, but my understanding is that the spray has to hit them directly in order to kill them, so that was just a messy waste and I don't want to breathe it. Brown recluses don't make webs, but just walk up and down the walls. They mostly come out at night I guess, because we rarely see them except in the traps.

It works…
I get the red boards because my eyesight isn’t as good and hard to see if anything on the black ones…

Cheaper than others, and now I have first evidence they work
These catch insects and once stuck to my shoe when I stepped on one.I was going to express skepticism about these attracting rodents, but finally, one caught a mouse.I would prefer the faster killing of standard mouse traps, but these serve as an alternate method.I still don't have a good comparison against other sticky traps, but these are certainly cheaper that others I have found.

Works great for many kinds of insects! Zero odor!
We have a terrible fly problem this year. I'm not sure if they're getting in through the window air conditioner, or what, but we can't seem to get rid of them completely. I originally bought these because we have house centipedes sometimes, and they creep me out looking like aliens. Plus apparently, I'm allergic to them, as I have a horrible itching rash after I get bit by one. My brother is diabetic, and he apparently is allergic to them too, as he gets huge dime-sized ulcers in his skin if he gets bit by them, and they take forever to heal. So the fly problem started, and I got the bright idea to just lay one of these out for that in the kitchen, dining room and the bathroom. Turns out they seem to be mostly in my dining room area near the back door, even though it's sealed, somehow maybe they're getting in from there. I laid one of the sticky pads out just to see what would happen. Well caught five of them. And two of the five must have been females because they actually laid eggs as they were dying. I didn't even realize it was eggs at first because with regular vision it just looks like a spiky little magnetic filament pile that's gray like cement in color. However, when I zoomed in with the camera and took a picture, I could clearly see it's eggs. Each fly can lay between 50 and 150 eggs! These sticky pads just saved our house from being completely overrun by flies. I have an electronic zapper too, and it works great, however our dog is absolutely terrified of it. Anytime a fly hits it, he goes running off and hides, and he starts shaking, and severely affected by that noise for some reason. We've had him ever since he was 7 weeks old so I have no idea where in his life this noise happened that it really really scares him to death. So these sticky pads have been a huge help with these flies. Unfortunately, we can't figure out where the flies exactly are coming from so they continue to come in. I also have an electronic zapping racket, and that works too. I do use it, but these help also, as you can see. I also want to mention that they have no odor at all. I have chemical sensitivities for over 20 years now, and I would never be able to use some of the other products that are on the market. I definitely wanted to mention the no odor for other people that are like me. No VOC's at all. I taped one to the top of the paneling in my room near the ceiling because that is where I always see a house centipede however have not caught one yet but I did catch a fly, as you can see in the last photo. I used scotch tape to put it up there, so I could easily remove it. Do NOT put these anywhere using part of the adhesive to stick it! It would most likely ruin whatever you put it on. The glue is very strong! I had laid one on a table in my room, and was digging through laundry, and my nightgown landed right on the pad lol! Fun times LOL!Highly recommend in any size! A few years ago we bought the larger size in this brand, and put one in the basement, and it caught several large spiders, house centipedes, and a few bugs we aren't even sure what they were. Safe, non-tocic, no odor, perfect!

Call a mouse within the first hour. No more mouse making problems in my outdoor furniture. Evicted.
The media could not be loaded. So I put this underneath my outside furniture and within an hour I caught a mouse and so glad that it’s not there because it was just leaving droppings and starting to smell with its urine and making a mess of things and bringing stuff underneath there and ever since then I haven’t caught anything else so there’s no more pests. The mouse may have been eating and killing lots of things going under there, but Those traps will catch everything that goes by. I put three traps in the corner so insects and mice and animals tend to walk across the corners. They don’t like to be away from a wall and so it should pretty much gather up any scorpions or anything that tries to walk nearby. These traps are invaluable. I got them in closets. I got them in the garage, I’m trying to prevent scorpions from getting in the house, but I’m haven’t gotten any. I put them in the most likely areas that they’re going to come in like underneath the garage door, so I put it on the corners where it’s open and most likely where they would come through. Haven’t caught anything yet besides little Beatles and non-problematic insects. But I put these in my barn and I have tons of hobo spiders which look like brown recluse, but they’re also necrotic poisonous, and I’ve caught a ton of them. I’ve got tons of them inside of my house now so at some point, these spiders made their way into my living space, but I’m so glad these things are catching. I mean, I got piles of these things in the traps and they caught them until there were no more spiders left.

Not so good for mice???
The media could not be loaded. Well they seem to work ok for bugs and little stuff, but not so much for mice apparently??? I had the perfect opportunity to rid myself of 2 at once but they just walked right off it. I've had this package of them for almost a year so maybe they just dried up or something. It wasn't that cold outside either, like 60F. You might want some better glue traps for mice, which I already have ordered and hopefully they actually work...Update: OK, so I judged too quickly. Luckily I was able to catch them (separately) the next evening with the folded-up version of the glue board, although the instructions did not say to do that for mice. I'm not sure what the difference was though, as it was stuck to the bottom of the trap and not the sides or top... [shrugs]
