Micronized Instant Kava Powder - Vanuatu Borogu (2 oz)

Very good product, this is the strongest kava I've been able to find online. The taste and feeling reminds me of the kava bars I used to go to in Florida. Only problem is, out of the 5-6 orders it seems like some have a little less in them. Maybe it's me but I've noticed that some are completely full, while others seem to not have as much. Either way great product I recommend it!!

He patiently answered all my questions and was very informative & helpful. He truly LOVES Kava, and lives KAVA, and LOVES Kava. He seemed more than happy to engage in Kava discussions and inform and educate about Kava. He is amazingly knowledgeable, and in fact share with me that there are 1,000's of chemotypes and strains of Kava. He chose only 4. Yes - 4. The 4 different Kava's he sells must be STELLAR.THE KAVA EXPERIENCEI had ordered this particular type of Kava with the #1 goal of a DAYTIME KAVA. I have had a complicated and not always wonderful experience with KAVA in the past. Back in the late 1990's, when Kava hit the supplement stores in the USA, I was among the first to jump on the bandwagon. I recall myself gulping large glasses of KAVA throughout the day, and telling my wife that I feel very little. I would do this day in and day out. Well after about 3-4 weeks of this, it hit. Apparently, the Kavalactones can accumulate (if this was even Noble Kava, as I have recently found out, that many Kava's in the US are not Noble Kava but something called TUDEI). When the weeks of drinking finally hit me, I was on the couch and down for the count. I was comatose basically. Just really TIRED. I had no motivation and didnt wanna do much. I had no idea it was the KAVA at the time (or TUDEI). I eventually was fine, but was done with what I thought was a KAVA effect.Fast forward to KALM KAVA.I ordered the Micronized version, as it would cut down on the amount of material I would have to swallow and get a daytime effect.THE EFFECTI started with 1 teaspoon. And within minutes, I felt a nice buzzing warmth. I felted nestled in a KAVA blanket of joy and happiness. I was social and gregarious, chatting with people and animal around me. This was nice, but didnt last that long. My wife made me dinner. By the time she served me dinner, I was knocked out. I literally passed out.I would not be able to take this KAVA during the day and work, based on this experience. However, I had other supplements in my system, including another KAVA brand, which could have all built up.For me, I had hoped this would be a DAYTIME KAVA, but it really ended up knocking me out.So I tried it the following day with nothing in my system, and it was very balanced. Relaxed, euphoric, socializing. Wonderful.His other Micronized Kava - BOROGURU (forgive me if I have spelt this wrong) - is supposed to be the GO-TO Daytime Kava. I have also ordered that, and will also write a review.If you want a balanced KAVA for relaxation and a little chattiness, then this one is right up your wheelhouse.

The seller was fast to ship, and the product is packaged well.I'm glad I bought the "micronized" powder. It doesn't mix well--either it floats or it sinks to the bottom. I can't imagine trying to swallow anything coarser than this. It's like eating rock dust and pulverized cough drops. You were warned! Keep a stirring stick with your beverage.For those who are new to kava kava, this is what it does: First it numbs your mouth, face and throat as if you accidentally squirted benzocaine into your throat. (That's the 'topical' that your dentist applies before you get a shot of lidocaine in your gums.) However the effect of kava is much stronger. It takes about 15 minutes before the numbness disappears. The relaxation from kava lasts only about 30 minutes. But, it's enough to distract you from whatever is on your mind.I'm a big guy, and there's no way I'd take 5 grams all at once, like the label suggests. Maybe 1.5 grams. Plus that's a lot fit in a tea cup. Five grams will be like eating mud. Even though it's strong and peppery in flavor, I suggest sipping, not drinking.About the flavor: the basic flavor is not that bad--actually bland. The problem is that it's spicy and peppery. If you think medium salsa is "hot", you will be uncomfortable with kava kava root.

Got minimal effects from it and was pretty disappointed as I had heard good reviews online about this company. Product came in without an expiration tag on it which makes sense since I see some past reviews where people complained about expired product. Will not be trying micronized again and skeptical of Kalm on Amazon since I felt minimal effects and double and tripled doses after multiple attempts.

you know how when you used kava the more you used it the more revers tolerance you get , well i was not getting that from the other kavas i was using, it was just taking to long for my body , But this kava it was great i did feel the effect more faster and when i finish the container i was less tolerant then i was before which is great since i had to used less kava to get the effect i desire , i had this pain in one shoulder and it would not let me rest comfortably and the doctor gave me medicine to take the pain away but i was kind of bother about that since i had heard so many story of how people get hook up to them, so that let me to look for an ulterior method that is when i found kava, i have not been using kava for that long but this is some good kava a LITTLE pricey but good i will be buying this kava from time to time because like i said its pricey for the quantity but nether the less its good quality kava as far as i can tell < im a noob at it , well guys hopefully this might help out
