I needed a skeleton case for a GoPro 8, and this was a budget-friendly option that works fine while live streaming. I needed to be able to keep the battery compartment open so I could plug in a charging block and remove the battery to prevent overheating.

I like that the case has a smooth yet grippy texture for easy and confident handling.The bright blue aluminum thumbscrew has an attractive finish and color and adds a refreshing splash of color which I liked.The only disappointment I experienced with this case was the incompatibility with my GoPro Chesty chest mount strap. The case screwed into the Chesty just fine but because the mounting legs are so short, I couldn't rotate the case parallel to my chest; as a result, all the footage will just point toward my feet. If the case is mounted to a hat or helmet mount, then there is no problem.Overall, I rate it 4 stars.

I needed this low profile cage for the front of my streetbike helmet. Works great, seems pretty durable. Time will tell.

This housing frame provides protection while allowing easy access to all buttons and the battery door.

I used this mount exactly two times when on the third time, while attaching my Gopro, the top latch came off!! No falls or bumps. Just junk!

Does protect the GoPro but it will break if you dropped it
