Scosche HA1566B Single Or Double DIN Car Stereo Dash Kit for Select 1990-2002 Acura And Honda Vehicles

I installed a double din Sony in to my Prelude. The Sony radio did not come with any trim piece to fit around the head unit. This kit has the radio trim for a double din and fits perfect.

Took a little while to figure out the pieces and to get it to fit perfectly but it’s nice and clean . The outside frame snaps in ok , ha fit pop out a couple times when hitting second heard hard . Bracket screws in the metal bar ok wish it was a little more solid but great for the price

the problem with this product is the size of the opening for the din. The size is such that if you have a motorized faceplate the plate is rubbing against the frame whenever it opens. it is just too tight. so for my application (Pioneer 4100nex) after i installed it i noticed the motor jamming when trying to get to the dvd/ sd slots. The good thing about the kit is if you have a "fixed" non motorized double din, the corners are VERY tight and it's a very good fit.Fixed head not motorized double din. This is the kit you probably want.motorized head unit with fancing flipping and tilting? you probably want the metra kit (I used the Metra 95-7801 )

First off, the harness was spot on. Tight connection and proper wiring with the included color codes. The zip ties and crimp connectors were a nice touch. However, for a 97 CR-V the fit is close but not perfect. First, the guide inside tells you the wrong tabs for the 97. Easy fix, just follow the old tabs from the stock radio or look for the slots in the cavity. Second, the width was too wide. Height was perfect, but the width caused the top bar on the trim plate to bow downwards. Part of it was the mounting of the radio flexing the console a little bit, but even with the radio out the plate did not fit properly. None of the other brackets we're even necessary for the 97 CRV. The internal mounting hardware was enough and the only thing I needed was new screws from the kit to replace the old ones which held the radio.

Worked well for install of a Pioneer double din in a 1998 Prelude.

I have lots of expirence installing stereos yet could not figure out how to install the product with the instructions provided. I wasted my money and only used the bezel that goes around the front of the display. I had to customize the parts and add pieces not provided

Really, really cheaply made. Brittle as all hell, and very confusing. Ended up using one small piece out of the whole thing. I know there are not alot of options out there for this specifically, so if you can make it work, my hats off to you.

Used with a boss audio double din, only issue I had installing into a 98 integra was the front plate cover that goes around the radio. It needed a little modification but fit fine.

Exact fit fits perfect

Trim not a perfect fit a little off clearance wise made it tight to get over the headunit. But looks good.

Terrible instructions. And basic as hell.Could use vehicle specific instructions and better mounting support.Metra are apparently worlds ahead.The good is the cost, if you have some basic ingenuity to make this work.

Face plate arrived with an uneven finish, looks like crap.Instructions suck.Product does not include hardware to mount radio to bracket.Product has crappy plastic tabs you need to snap off for a 'universal fit'Plastic tabs broke, making product useless, had to shim tabs using previously snapped off ones.New one on its way.

The clips broke during installation and i ended up gluing it together
