I had this book originally when I was a child in Germany and was really fascinated by it but eventually it got lost. Beautiful book and great stories with morals. Could be scary for very young children but then I bought it for myself and my children who are in their twenties! Fascinating book and also now available in English - I'm going to purchase the translated copy too. A book to be browsed through again and again.

I love this book. I should have bought the epub version rather than the kindle version, though; readable on so many more devices.

This book turned out to be in Russian language which was 90% my fault as that was clear if one read the page carefully. So I can only report that this was the finest Russian book that I have ever owned and never opened?
