Please, Ms. Regan, get to writing the next in the series.
I just finished The Girl with No Name and again, Lisa Regan got me. I loved this book. I think I might have liked it better than the first in the series and that’s no easy task because I loved The Vanishing Girls too.I admit it. I’m too emotionally attached to Josie Quinn. I feel everything she feels even when she isn’t expressing her feelings. She’s such a strong character and so well fleshed out, I feel like she’s a real person. This book really pulled at my heartstrings. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I’m overwhelmed and ruined after reading this.Lisa did a wonderful job of weaving the plot in a way that kept me from being able to guess what would happen next. I was on the edge of my seat, flipping pages rapidly to see if my guesses were correct. As far as happy endings go, this book has one, kind of. I can’t say much without giving something away, but I will point out some of the things I loved about this book.I love the relationship between Josie and Trinity. What a dynamic pair. Their relationship really bumps this story into overdrive for me. The same is true for their interactions in The Vanishing Girls.I love the relationship between Josie and Noah. I hope Noah gets a romantic relationship in the next book. That man deserves a great woman. He’s such a great and caring guy. I love how he’s the caretaker in his relationship with Josie.I also love the setting. I feel like I know Denton. Lisa didn’t over describe the town or the settings, but she gave enough and put the descriptions in enough (or in the right places) to help me understand the town and feel like they know it. This is important for the series since we're going to be in Denton for every book and we need to have a connection with the town.I can’t wait for the next installment. What will Josie Quinn do next? Please, Ms. Regan, get to writing the next in the series.

Pretty good
This was a mystery and I love a mystery. The characters were well done. The plot moved at a good pace. A little foul language but not over the top. I found it to be a very enjoyable read.

A Whirlwind of a Book
This book was full of suspense, action, whodunnit and more! It was never dull, always something full of action happening! I never knew which way it was going to go. I loved it! I love that there are 19 more Josie Quinn books to keep me occupied!

Liked it, but overall disappointed in the second of this series
No spoilers. The plot is convoluted and a bit crazy, but the author does a pretty good job of leading the reader to all of the reveals. It feels a bit like a horror film when you think the bad guy is dead, but he pops up again!Where the author fails (and in a big way) is with the character development. With Vanishing Girls, she did an awesome job of introducing the characters, their backstory and left us wanting more. There were also supporting characters that were interesting, and could be featured more as the series grows. In this follow up story, Josie and Luke are both huge disappointments. Where are the editors?!Josie fares a bit better than Luke, but not by much. Josie is the Chief, yet she acts like an emotionally insecure teenager at times - frustrating - and her emotionally silly behavior seems contrived. Luke is living in bizarro world - he looks nothing like the man we got to know in Vanishing Girls. His behavior is ludicrous, and the explanation for the choices he makes in this book are not true to his character. Major fail by this author and the editor. UNLESS, there's a different explanation (when confronted, he doesn't exactly admit to what is assumed...he apologizes. That leaves room for redemption to be the man we were shown in book 1).The supporting characters fare a bit better, but there's not much development with them so that's probably why. Overall, the plot was interesting; and I will read the next in the series (to see if there is an answer to the silliness of the main characters behaviors).

Super spannend
Bin begeistert!

Lisa Regan continues to astound with her magnificent books - keep piling them on!
I can run out of adjectives to describe yet another fabulous work from Lisa Regan - what a story, what writing, what suspense, what more do you want and it really makes me wonder what more you can get
