Great Scanner! Quality scans at a reasonable price!!!!
I'll admit I was concerned about this purchase. The price was very attractive but I had low expectations on function and effective scans. I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! This is a great scanner - and surprised me 100%. I had always purchased another brand (used it for 15 years!!!!) and never dreamed a less expensive - name brand would beat that performance. Perfect for taking on trips - just the right size for easy use or use it for the home office as well. Amazing quality scans! Totally simple software - and a work horse for me!

Best Tool I Bought in 2025 so far!!
This is the best and easiest tool I have purchased in months! It is plug and play, and all I had to do was connect it via the USB cable provided to my laptop. I loaded a two sided document, chose black and white and hit scan. A few seconds later I have a duplexed image scanned and all I had to do was choose the folder where I wanted to store it.The font in their control panel is very small, but can be adjusted to a larger size. That's my only negative...and it's really not a significant issue. It is so small, it is fast and super easy to use. When you plug it in you are able to see and launch the executible file for it's app and that's it.

Almost perfect. Troubleshoot for Mac
Small, portable. Easy to use. Perfect for quick scanning. Relatively accurate if you don't overload it too much. Wicked Fast setup. BUT with wire connection issues with Mac adapter. And multi-page scanning doesn't always work as one continuous document. It can fail, I could pick up where I left off if I don't cancel but annoying. This one is lotto ticket. Not a big deal for some but I need that feature to work smoother.MAC TROUBLESHOOTING: I have a macbook air 2019 and yesterday the scanner stopped recognizing the scan utility which is not downloaded onto the computer. Honestly, I really liked that part previous to this because it meant quicker connection and made for light work on my HD space. BUT yesterday flat out stopped recognizing the native driver/ utility program. Said no scanner could be found, which also meant I couldn't update the utility. I couldn't understand what went wrong. On the Canon site there were no fixes listed other than to check the USB is not connected to an adapter. So after reading a review on here it was a firewall. Struck out. Then reading that it was the third party toggle and a known issue, I switched multiple mac adapter combinations around. Nothing worked. It finally dawned on me it was probably the USB end of the wire failing to connect to the female USB to USB-C Mac adapter. Talk about 1st world aggravation over the dumbest and simplest thing ever. To test my theory. Stole my headphone wires that are like 3 years old and that worked but this wire didn't. Go effing figure. It wasn't the adapter at all. I tried all of them again and voila. Worked, no matter what combo I used. So if you have a Mac, Switch the damn wire, not the adapter. Problem Solved, for now. Hope it doesn't screw up again. No one has time to solve something this simple that should be on the website troubleshooting section!

So easy and compact - works great too.
What a great little scanner. The computer sees it as an external drive. So, when you turn it on, it connects and opens that "drive" folder and that's where the application to scan is. Just run that - very easy to customize - when your done, turn it off and your computer disconnects. Nothing to install. Scans both sides at once and auto detects color or black and white. Of course, you can override to what you want very easily if you need to. Very compact and easy to take with you - we work from the RV some so it's perfect. Also got the case for it.

0-Stars Canon PoS Scanner - avoid this one.
I am sure others will sing this thing's praises, but as far as I am concerned, it is the worst piece of equipment I have practically ever encountered. It either does not engage with the pages at all, or else it swallows the stack whole. Should it accidentally feed 2 or 3 pages in sequence ("auto document feed", right?), they will inevitably be skewed - I have yet to have it feed a single page through in good alignment. The hardware is bad. The software is worse. It is built-in. There is mention of using it "if you do not have a scanner driver," but there is no hint of a scanner driver to download. Granted, I am a Mac user, but the website makes it appear that it is plug-and-play. Not. (Website shows an older launch screen. Of course.)I am trying to replace an old MX922 that served me wonderfully until the ADF started jamming. Not sure what I'm going to do. I bought a car recently, and the finance guy must have scanned about 100 pages in 3 seconds flat with his nifty scanner. Wish I had one of those, but I just don't have the volume in my retiree's home office to justify it.Guess you get what you pay for. Except in this instance you don't. You pay and you get something headed for the landfill.I wanted to share a video, but there's nothing to see. I couldn't get it to work for the video. Bah

Works Great
I'm impressed with this portable scanner. It has an easy to use software (no installation, just plug in and its ready). It allows you to set up multiple configurations for scanning to specific folders and can include a timestamp and a default document name. I also like how fast it scans a document or receipt and on both sides at the same time. Will even scan multiple documents. I don't need to scan everyday, maybe once or twice a week at most, so having this portable scanner that doesn't take up much room is perfect. My only complaint is that the software display is a little small and hard to read, but maybe its a setting I haven't found yet.
