Plants always do better in the ground than in pots. All have good root systems ready to be planted out unless otherwise stated. Bulbs and some plants may be dormant or dying back depending on the time of receipt. Bulbs and corm numbers may vary in pots but usually, it is only ONE BULB per pot. Some plants need to be cut back to send out but should re-flower once planted out, therefore, they are NOT ALWAYS SUITABLE AS GIFTS. We are offering a wide selection of plants for gardeners. From September to March many plants may have been previously split and re-potted so please be aware of this when ordering or receiving them and DO NOT order unless you are happy with this. The picture gives the final flowering plant and is not always what you will receive as it depends on the time of year. Although we take great care packing, sometimes a leaf or flower may be broken in transit but this will not affect the plant and is not an issue for replacement or refund. Sometimes plants just do not like the conditions of a particular garden especially the soil and may not thrive. Never over-water. Stock can die, be eaten by voles or quickly develop disease. Some Lupins don't like certain soils. We use environmentally friendly paper shredding’s and cardboard for packaging, Postal sources are sometimes a bit rough with their handling but it does not usually affect the contents. Any problems please email us and send a picture on receipt immediately.
