Melitta Porcelain Pour-Over Carafe Set with Cone Brewer and 20 Ounce Carafe, Pastel Pink

I’m transitioning from k-cups to pour over because the k-cup machines are prone to mold. I was a little familiar with pour over but had never used it myself. I knew I was going with Melitta because it’s the original.When I saw this set on Amazon in pink, I thought it was so pretty (though it seems to be unavailable now). I also liked that it wasn’t plastic, or other similar materials.I really only use the cone at this point because I’m only making a single cup of coffee. But the carafe is really nice and I’ll probably find a use for it. I just put the cone over my large coffee cup, and it works fine. The cone is just beautiful, very well made ceramic, and I love the engraving of the Melitta logo on the side.This is really good quality, and I highly recommend this set.

was looking for a coffee mug that was at least 18 oz - most are 12-15---always like the pour over coffeebrew method makes the best coffee. As I only have morning coffee I like a big cup---this serves the purpose plus is cute

Cute and functional. Better coffee than either my Nespresso or French press provide, and the little caraffe keeps it nice and hot. Holds about 2-3 cups of coffee, which is perfect for me. Clean-up is very easy. Absolutely no complaints!

I wanted to love this and have it stand proudly next to my tea pots. It’s cute. I like two cups of coffee in the morning and I already used a pour over directly into a mug. By the time I go back for the second cup, it’s tepid. I even temp the carafe and cone before pouring. I’m not expecting Yeti sustained temps or anything. So, I’ll only use it if I’m serving.

I purchased this pour-over set to replace a white china Melita set I had been using for at least 10 years. I finally bumped the old one into the kitchen faucet hard enough to chip the funnel part. When this new one arrived, I was disappointed becausea. its much smaller than the one I was replacing, andb. #4 filters that fit my old white one perfectly, are too big and #2 filters that I used in my single cup plastic cone are a little too small.The third time I used it, the carafe fell off of a low table onto a soft rug and cracked so now I can't use it. True, it fell off the table, and that was my fault, but it didn't fall hard or very far. The material used just isn't as strong and durable as the porcelain of my old white Melita.I wish I could return it, but honestly, when I took it out of the excellent packaging, it was super cute (pink) and not cracked. Just wasted $40, which is a lot for such a small pot anyway. If you buy this, be extra careful handling it!

I like it, but wish it had a matching pink cup. It would make a nice set.

I have to use more coffee grinds than normal, otherwise the coffee tastes watery. It's not like a French press where the grinds steep for 10 minutes.But it's so cute! And so simple to wash than a French press. Only has about two cups worth of coffee, but I'm very happy with this.
