I don't normally get around to writing reviews, but I realized this morning that this month is the 5 year anniversary of when I purchased this tumbler on Amazon. I am an iced coffee drinker and have been using this tumbler almost every morning since I bought it (aside from an occasional hot coffee or when I'm traveling), and it is still working as if I bought it yesterday. This includes turning it upside down and shaking vigorously every time I use it with no leaks at all. Impressive! Somewhere along the line I lost the straw but have found other reusable straws work well as replacements. (Make sure it's the hard straw and long enough; silicon straws will work but get partially bent by the strength of the leak-proof feature.) 5 starts overall, but I gave 4 stars for ease of cleaning just because the lid has crevices you can't get at with just a sponge, but a dish brush works great.

Ive been into protein shakes ever since a friend introduced me to them. I make my own and bring them to the gym with me so that I can enjoy them after my workout. I used to make them with a blender but that takes me a while. For convenience sake, I wanted to try using a tumbler so I got this product.Making the shakes is super easy. I add the powder, skim milk, and ice to the tumbler and shake it up (it seals tightly if the straw is out). Theres no need for a blender or spoon or anything which makes it super convenient. When I’m finished I add in the straw and I’m good to go. The way it works, theres actually a little door that you have to push down on with the straw- this holds it in place and prevents major spills. Some of the liquid might drip out here and there but you won’t end up with a big mess.Its dishwasher safe (put it on the top-rack) so theres no difficulties in washing it. Personally however I prefer to wash it by hand as some of the protein powder tends to get stuck in the crevices on the cap. It doesn’t take long at all…I just use regular dish soap. At the beginning I used a sponge but that didn’t work that well so I eventually got a set of bottle brushes that lets me clean the inside easily. The quicker you wash it, the easier it is to clean. Quality is great too. I’m a clumsy person and have dropped it a few times on the ground but you can’t really tell. I’ll admit that the straw is not as strong as I thought it’d be but so far i have no issues to report. The curved design also makes it easy to hold.

I absolutely love this! I was tired of wiping the condensation off my old iced coffee mug, and so this double-wall tumbler is an amazing change of pace. I walked to work all summer using this tumbler and my iced coffee was still cold, while my hands remained condensation-free.I chose this tumbler because it uses a straw and it seemed easier to take sips while walking, and it has been. I have yet to see how leak-proof it is if you remove the straw, but that's usually because my iced coffee is done by the time I get to work. Then I just rinse the mug and stick it in my bag, and so far it has yet to get scratched or cracked. I did buy extra straws since other users said theirs cracked, but that hasn't happened to mine and I've had it for a couple months now. I personally think it's quite sturdy and I don't see myself replacing the straw anytime soon.As for care, this tumbler is very easy to clean by hand. There are no hidden crevices that a sponge can't reach, and my small-ish hands don't have a problem reaching the very bottom with a sponge. I've only used this for iced coffee and so I haven't had a problem cleaning the straw without a specific tool. I just run warm water and soap through it, and my drinks have continued to taste perfectly fine.The only downside is somewhat a personal problem, hah. The small-ish size of my hands make this tumbler just a bit cumbersome at times due to its diameter, but not enough to make me want a new mug. (Note that my hands are below average size, most adults shouldn't have a problem!) Overall, I love this tumbler and I highly recommend it!

I'm ok kind of an insulated beverage container/collector. This is one of my all time favorites. It does not keep beverages cold as well or as long as double wall stainless steel. No plastic container does! You do have to be careful as the flipper on the lid can collect mold. And overall they tend to look cloudy and scrstched up pretty quickly. But in 7 years of using this kind, I've only broken one lid once. And it was after a pretty traumatic fall.So why do I like it so much? It's the perfect size for a liquid IV or crystal light packet. And with the special lid, it's so easy to mix. And the shape is just nice to hold. It's just a perfect adult sippy cup, lol. Even scratched up it's pretty.More and more I'm using my stainless steel cups, but this will always have a special place in my cupboard.
