These are exactly as described. They are small, about 2.2 inches long. The outside is hard, glossy plastic that looks very real, the inside is foam, i.e. they aren't hollow. The green stem is hard plastic and is stuck into the top. Overall, they look pretty real. Texture and size is very lifelike - but don't be surprised by the size. The description says 2.2 inches and guess what? They're 2.2 inches long! Amazing how that works.

Loved these peppers purchased for table arrangements for chili cook-off. They are made of a foam material covered in a hard "red candy apple" looking covering. I was able to easily hot glue floral wire in them. I tried buying at a local retailer but they didn't compare with these. Bought once and then re-bought.

These are great but they're a lot smaller than you'd think they'd be! Also the red coloring comes off a little bit when you put these in water.

The peppers were exactly as advertised. They were bright and lifelike. I used hot glue on them, and they withstood the heat. I also punctured them, and they remained sturdy.

It is really nice in the root basket on my kitchen table. Chili peppers look real.
