Be sure you can use it before buying
I purchased this microphone in hopes that I would be able to amplify my Harp using it and the Harman-Kardon Onyx Studio Bluetooth speaker. It would not pair. However, it would pair with any Apple device and with a cheap $20 speaker. I returned it for a refund, which was promptly done. Later, I contacted Harman-Kardon to see if I had a defective speaker, only to learn that this speaker only pairs with Apple and Android devices, like smartphones...bummer. Thank you Sprint Store for selling me something I cannot use.

Works Sporadically
I am a pastor trying to do Facebook Live for worship services during the pandemic. My smart phone is at a distance from the pulpit, and the smart phone mic doesn't pick up the sound from the sanctuary speakers very well. I was hoping that a Bluetooth mic would connect my voice directly to my smart phone. The Alead Nolan Mic was not consistent or dependable for the purpose.

doesnt work very well
it was easy to pair with my Shokz bone conducting headphones. Unfortunately, when the speaker is clipped onto a person, it picks up the sound of cloth rubbing more than it does the voice. a person must speak directly into the microphone as it will not pick up voices more than a foot away. I had a surf link microphone that worked very well, but it cost 4 times as much, but after 5 years of use no longer holds a charge for very long.

A Great Bluetooth Microphone
This bluetooth microphone was exactly what I needed. It connected easily with my bluetooth speaker. The sound was clear, and the volume was easily adjusted. It was loud enough to be heard from a distance. For the clearest sound the microphone had to be at least 20 feet from the speaker. It clipped to your shirt to leave your hands free for paperwork or writing. It was portable so it could be used in many different locations. I would definitely buy it again, and would recommend it to anyone who needed a portable sound system.

Don’t waste your time or money
I should have listened to many of the reviews. Out of the box, this device simply doesn’t deliver what it promised. Saying it works via Bluetooth connection is laughable. Yes, it will send your voice to a speaker, but at a leisurely 1 full second delay. If the speaker is within 2 feet, faced away from you, the feedback is awful. Get more than 5 feet away and it loses Bluetooth connection.

Omnidirectional Bluetooth mics are hard to come by so I like that Alead has filled that niche
I would say this is primarily an enterprise product, not a consumer product. That may be why the consumer reviews are low. To me it seems most appropriate for live events such as lectures, classes, webinars, conferences, etc. Omnidirectional Bluetooth mics that don't block out background noise are hard to come by so I like that Alead has filled that niche. This is needed if the mic has any hope of picking up comments from audience/class members. Granted it's not the most sensitive mic but I suppose that's why it's not super expensive. The company is also very responsive. They have other products with more bells and whistles but the BTMIC2 is minimalistic which makes it very easy to use. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I think the firmware could be improved for better connectivity. Also I wish the charge port was on the bottom instead of the top. But the fact it can be used while charging means you can plug in a portable power bank and it'll keep streaming audio all day and night.

The device is commendable.
I liked it's performance potential, even though I discovered I didn’t really need it as my hearing proved adequate without the additional microphone.

Piece of Junk. Poor sound quality, terrible interference. $109 seriously? works like a $10 toy.
So I thought i'd give this product a try because I was looking for something to connect to my JBL portable speaker and I wanted a hands-free microphone instead of my existing bluetooth microphones that are not handsfree. Unfortunately the quality of the Alead mic is very poor with immediate feedback or high pitch noise present as soon as you connect it to the speaker. This noise does not exist with my other bluetooth mics and the sound quality is poor with some noticeable lag. The build quality is fully plastic apart from the clip. Advertised for AU $109?? yet it feels like a $10 toy. Going to return the product as it isn't fit for purpose.
