If you want gopher smoke bombs, these are the ones to get
This is the best of the "smoke bomb" type products. They put out a lot more smoke than the ones from another company - and those with an external fuse that must be lit with a flame. The built-in strike-to-light feature in these ones is a big convenience.I have probably a 15% success rate with these and 0% success rate with the other kind. (The best success rate I've had with any product, including traps, is maybe 30%.)They're are a little pricey, but worth it.

Gopher terminator!
We lit these in the gopher holes and then turned on the blower. You can see smoke coming up and trace the path of the tunnels. They worked great!

Works if you act quickly
I went through two packs without stopping the gophers. Didn't even slow them down. I've used similar products in the past with good results, but those times I used them within a day or two of seeing the first mounds. If you wait too long to act they apparently have enough of a tunnel network to just run away from the gas. At that point you might as well throw burning five-dollar bills down the hole.

Lights easy
The quick strike lights very easy! I really like that. No fumbling with a separate fuse and getting it lit.Not 5 stars because the smoke does not seem as potent as other gassers.

What i wouldn't recommend.
This product doesn't work cuz a day after I used 1 the tunnels extended off of the 1 I used it in. Would like to get my money back but I used 2 of them. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Groundhog is gone
I was a little afraid of this. But it was easy to use and relatively foolproof. I dropped the smoking bomb in the groundhog hole and covered it up with cardboard and a rock. I have not seen the groundhog lately. I do think I will use the remaining bombs once every month.

Works on Prairie Dogs Too
It took a few times to find all the escape routes, but once I got them plugged, this did the job. Bigger that some other brands means more smoke. Prairie dogs are like a bucket of water. Dip some out and more come in. Between this and the .22LR, I’m maintaining a perimeter. The striker worked well for me. Sulphur smell when using. A little expensive, but they work.
