Ordered this for our arty daughter who was recommended it. Non-arty dad was dubious whether to spend the extra over the supermarket equivalents. That doubt vanished when it arrived. Unexpectedly high quality in a way the photos don't fully reflect. Solidly constructed, thick lustrous paper, quality ring binding, good covers. Head and shoulders above any supermarket equivalent. Certainly has a special enough feel for becoming the home to our tween daughter's artworks, especially given the low price.

I cannot wait to carry out my work into this sketchbook. I've been looking for a good A4 sketchbook suitable for art students that has a good amount of sheets since carrying an A3 is too big and heavy. This is exactly what I wanted. The cover is sturdy and nicely done, the colour of the deep red looks very classy. You can carry this anywhere with ease. Overall very satisfied and this should have more reviews. The pages are also tearable, it has those littles holes on the sides which you can rip off clean if anyone is looking for this articular feature :)

One thing you must know is I just found out after started drawing my first on this book that. The front of the paper has rough effect it would not blend smoothly for colour pencil. Therefore it depends on how you like your work to come out. The back has smooth effect which I find it more suitable for sketching and colour pencil drawing. I hope it helps.

Really lovely thick sketchbook at an amazing price! The 180gsm paper can withstand a whole variety of mediums, including light washes of watercolours and the hardcover seems to be very good for protection. The label and cover page are also very cute! It's going to take me a while to fill this sketchbook as there are more pages than the typical sketchbook.

Amazing quality, definitely recommend

There are more pages than in most sketch books. Paper is quite thick but textured on the main side so not suited to some precision applications. Reverse is a little smoother. Had I known about the textured paper I wouldn’t have chosen this item.

The media could not be loaded.  Pages are nice and thick, probably enough to apply a small amount of acrylic and a small amount of water colour. The opening page is really nice too. Bought this sketchbook for a little hobby over lockdown.
