Great Headset
I have had these for three years now. I use headphones at more than one location so I have this set for home, and a different set at a remote location. I wanted these over-the-ears because my other set is not over-the-ear and I figured it would keep my ears from getting sore having one set of each kind. And that has worked as I expected. I'm not using these for music, just use them for remote work which includes calls and meetings and that kind of thing. This headset is very comfortable. The sound is excellent and clear. The noise cancelling definitely works. I have had consistent feedback that I sound very clear in meetings and on calls. Keep in mind that different applications, networks, and other hardware can strongly affect all these things. That has nothing to do with headsets. In my case, however, I have found that these do exactly what I need them to, and I have reason to believe they out-perform the gear other people use. They are definitely better than I what I was provided by the business I work for.Two things could be better: (1) the jack sticks way out from my laptop, esepcially using the adapter. A curved jack might work better; in some locations this doesn't matter but when I'm using a laptop just on it's own, it's a bit cumbersome, (2) the pleather-ish kind-of-plasticky stuff they put over the ear pads started coming off about a year ago. The little pieces stick to my face and are just a nuisance. I was looking to replace these with a headset that doesn't have that soft-synthetic covering over the ear cushions, but instead I sat here for ten minutes peeling that stuff off. So I have just the foamy stuff underneath now, which is cool with me and makes literally no difference in the comfort. I guess they put that stuff on there so the ear pads are easier to clean. But everything I do with these is with clean hands and I'm not a dirty person, so they will be just fine without the black stuff sticking to the side of my face.If they were to improve the one issue with the material peeling off the ear pads, I would say these are pretty much perfect for office work. I've spent a lot of hours with these on my head, so I don't really blame them for starting to disintegrate a bit. So instead of buying new ones, I wrote this review and now I'm done.

Microphone work well! But after using for hour, a bit uncomfortable around my head from the supporting sponge (or may be a problem from my head size). Otherwise are fine.

Updated review
This is a review of the Philips SpeechOne headset. I’ve been using this headset (with Dragon professional 15 loaded onto my Lenova Yoga 920 laptop) for a couple days. So far, I find the Philips headset is very comfortable. . The product assembly/installation instructions were unnecessarily confusing, but not overwhelmingly bad. I was hoping that this pricey headset would improve upon the dictation accuracy that I got with my old handheld mic, but I’m not finding that be the case. My biggest disappointment with the product is its range. I find that I get good dictation accuracy with the headset if I stay within 4 feet of the docking station and my computer. When I go beyond that, dictation accuracy declines significantly. When I am 9 feet away, accuracy is extremely low. I will update this review when I get more experience, but my initial impression is: good, but not worth the price.FEBRUARY UPDATE: I am working with the company's rep to resolve my problem, but no improvement yet. It is possible that my laptop and the microphone are not communicating. I will update this review when things change or the mystery is resolved.JUNE UPDATE. A couple months ago, with the company's help, we figured out the bug that was interfering with this product's performance. My set up was not done correctly. Since then, the product is working as promised. It is comfortable and accurate. I took one star off of the review for two reasons: (1) the setup instructions were so vague that it was easy for anyone to make an error and (2) the vinyl covering the ear piece is already broken.SEPTEMBER UPDATE: The customer service rep who I was working with graciously sent me a replacement ear piece. I think the product is excellent, but the installation instructions could be clearer.

Overall great but battery died after just over a year
The headset does everything it advertises really well. Audio quality is great and its very comfortable/lightweight. The battery used to be great and charged quickly, allowing for 10 hours of constant use at a stretch with maybe a quick 10 minute charge during my shift. Unfortunately after 14 months the battery has tanked and I can't get more than 2-3 hours out of it. I still use it although its much less convenient being tied to a USB cord to keep a charge. I'd expect more life out of such an expensive headset.

Overpriced and useless microphone that needs lots of extras
Fire be aware that purchasing this expensive microphone does not actually mean you can use it. You will also have to go find software to purchase to use alongside it. When I try to look on the Phillips site to purchase, it was redirected to a list of resellers. The resellers I contacted, didn’t even know anything about the software I needed to purchase with this type of microphone.Several of the links were broken on the Phillips website and trying to determine which software you needed for this product.I got some follow up email from Phillips after purchasing this microphone, which gave two links stated, I would actually need to purchase two different types of software to use with microphone. What’s up man I can’t believe a company or the resellers would actually sell this product and no one be able to answer basic questions about how to use it. I also can’t believe I spent hours trying to figure out which software to use, with no success.I finally just gave up and sent back to the seller

Perfect for all my online needs
First, even though they feel a bit bulky, they are comfortable. The microphone, sound cancellation, and noise quality are great. I love having the adapter as it allows me to use the same pair of headphones for both professional and personal needs. Exceptional price for the quality.
