Ground Control to Major Deadpool
This arc in Daniel Ways run gets more things right than it does wrong. As for the positive, the storyline itself is pretty interesting and fits with ways previous deadpool arcs. The jokes are funny for the most part and the action is visceral and intense (but this is a deadpool comic after all). What doesn't go right are the parts where way tries to develop deadpool as a character. It seems that way is trying to paint deadpool as the tragic hero whom is destined to walk in the shadows and is only filled with the best intentions. However, way continually contradicts this in a number of small and sometimes blatantly large ways through out the arc. Its hard to believe deadpool has the best intentions but still manages to randomly kill and hurt people. Way needs to stick with one deadpool or the other and should stop maintaining this weird ambiguity that we've reached. From what I hear about the next issue this probably wont happen. Again though its an entertaining read and if you want to stay current on deadpool canon you're going to get it anyway. I recommend deadpool team up volume 3 as it seems until deadpool decides what he wants to be stories where he plays off other heros are more meaningful than his own story.

Deadpool vol 7: Space Oddity
Deadpool decides trying to ne a hero and good guy is too hard so now he wants to be baddest merc in whole galaxy. After killing the #1 assassin in galaxy he accidently gets married to a nice but huge "rhino-like" alien and gets a job as bounty hunter. His very first job is killing a planet eating moon/planet called Id. Deadpool throws himself into this and saves two planets people before their planet gets destroyed. The first story involves him being hired by landlords to evict someone, but they are not good guys he finds out. He makes some odd new friends there. Very fast and fun book.

A great volume with some fun ideas
another great volume by Daniel Way, now a little background this is the first series I have ever read of US comics (I was big into manga for years but could never get into the US counterpart) and it really has gotten me interested. I've bought all the available volumes and thoroughly enjoyed them. this one takes the series on an odd twist, space. it really shows what the character is about and just how insane he is even when removed from his natural environment he still controls the room like he was back on earth. it really keeps the feel of the series while bringing about new and zany ideas. though I'd definitely recommend reading through volumes 1-6 first otherwise some readers might get a little lost...IN SPPAAAAAAAACCCEEEE!

It just get's better.....
I got onto the Deadpool train through the Cable & Deadpool series which was excellent and have continued to read all his work since then.An astounding mix of illustrative style, breaking the walls of a comic, riding Deadpool's mental health issues and some of the funniest stroylines written, have been perfected in this volume. The story with The Wrecker is an absolute classic, jumping all over the place and nailing Deadpool's attitude to his job.In his space story, a great new foe is introduced and Deadpool heads out into the starry sky. Another true classic storyline, with a wife to boot!Daniel Way has a brilliant writing ability with Deadpool and has the illustrators to bring him to life.Keep up the awesome work!!!

Way's deadpool is the best deadpool
really feel like the comedy is executed plerfectly with deadpools two minds, the deep dive into what drives deadpool in between missions is also great

good, but lacks action
this is a very good and funny part to the deadpool series but doesnt have as much action and fighting as some of the other deadpool comics do.

Hilariously Badass
Hilarious as always. I love Deadpool and Daniel Way continues to show off how funny and badass the Merc with a mouth can be. I plan on finishing Way's run as head writer.

Deadpool vs a moon... sorry planet!
Deadpool decides to become the number one mercenary in the galaxy so heads in to space, the book was good and funny but is not quite as strong as the others in the series. It was great to see him battling a deranged moon/planet and also see his new wife, although Volume 3: X Marks The Spot is still the best of this series!
