It works, but taste isnt that great.
Its a water filter that filters. Versus Brita, it filters more, according to the label, but Brita tastes better.

3 single cartridges were cheaper than the 3 pack. Be sure to order PUR replacements. Some other companies said that their cartridges would fit my pitcher and I found out that they were wrong. PUR's fit fine and does a great job.

New and improved
I like how much quicker the water runs thru this new design, it was so quick at first I thought I hadn't inserted it correctly. I was pleasantly surprised when I double-check the box for instruction and noticed it had been improved and claimed to be "twice as fast." I paid a little more but it was worth it!
