Wanted a different looking mailbox that wasn't too "out there" and this did the job. I've had it up for about 4 months now with no problems. I can't speak for it's rain protection (it's under an awning) but it's pretty safe and sturdy (I can't put my fingers in and try and take anything out without a key). It can also hold my magazine subscriptions and regular junk mail with no problems. But just a heads up you will need 2 hands to check the mail (one to open the top flap and another to unlock the front of the box to grab mail).

Love the look of this mailbox! Easy to install with the provided screws. The metal is of good quality. I installed this mailbox under our minimally covered front porch 3 months ago. Living in florida, I was concerned about heavy rains but so far have had no issues with rust or water intrusion. Mailbox cannot be mounted flush to wall due to the lid. Rubber spacers are provided to protect the back of the mailbox and wall.Pros:Great look, spacious inside, easy to install, made of quality metal, water resistant, key lock, great value for the moneyCons:Lid opens upward towards wall which could result in scratches to the finish. I am reviewing the mailbox as shown. After reading through the reviews, it seems that other mailboxes are being mentioned, too. That being said...We are updating my mother's house, which include looking for a more modern mailbox. At the time, I didn't care that it locked, but there have been more reports of theft from mailboxes lately, so the lock has become an important feature.The design is contemporary, as is the house, so that attracted us. So far, it is holding up well. Some people mentioned their mail getting wet, but the way the lid closes over the mail slot, I can't imaging those reference this model. But we have mounted ours in a relatively protected area, so I can't be absolutely certain.Mounting was easy, but my wife and I are both mechanically skilled, but I really can't see how it would be a problem. The mail slot seems big enough, and our mailman seems to have no problem raising the lid and inserting the mail with one hand.ONLY DRAWBACK: It takes two hands to get the mail. One hand to open the lid to access the lock, the other hand to open the front to get the mail. Then, however you want to do this, lift the lid again to raise the front cover and lock it back up. Is that a problem? Not for a secure, contemporary mail box for under $50. Similar ones I looked at can cost between $200 - $300! So, for a relative bargain for something secure and stylish, this is a good buy.

Good replacement for my old one

We use this locked mailbox/drop box for our small office and love it! Clients can drop off documents and know their information will be safe until we retrieve it. We installed ours on a brick wall - easy to install and it's not going anywhere. Our only issue is someone in the office lost our keys and we need a replacement set! Small pieces of mail are difficult to get when using long metal bars like to fish out. I'd love to contact the company on Amazon to request a replacement set of keys but am having difficulty figuring out just how to do that.

I've owned this mailbox for months and through really bad weather, it has remained just like when I got it. The size allows for different mail sizes easy through the slot, and the place in the bottom is great for magazines and subscriptions. It is safe and handy. IHighly recommend it.

First, they lock the instructions, keys and mounting accessories INSIDE the mailbox. So it’s a task just getting them out. Overall, looks decent once installed but installation was not as easy as I would’ve liked.

The media could not be loaded.  Muy buena calidad por un costo accesible, aun no lo instalamos pero venia bien protegido en una caja y con plastico. El material se ve resistente y es un negro no brilloso, viene con dos llaves y sus taquetes para instalar. Espero perdure y no tenga fallas con el uso.

El buzón es de buena calidad y fácil de instalar. Tiene un tamaño ligeramente más grande de lo normal.

Is big and quite modern so we love it

Easy to install. Serves it purpose. Mail is not wet anymore and is secure in the box
