Q: Which parts of the canopy protect from the sun? Just the solid piece, or the screened part too? Seems like damaging sun rays would still get in?

This product provides UPF20 sun protection for baby while in the dome with the canopy closed. Fabric with a UPF of 20 only allows 1/20th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment to pass through it.

Q: Does it come with mattress?

It comes with a pad that has a washable cover that comes off.

Q: What is the weight limit for this?

Right now it holds twins who are 4 weeks old. It is used a lot now at home & It is great to travel with. I gave it as a twin baby shower gift. The parents love it!!

Q: how much does this weigh?

It weighs 14# with the shipping box and packing. It is a gift for my Granddaughter. I don't know the exact weight of the dome itself, just that it is less than 14#
