Great piece of equipment
Have only had the RC-300 for a couple of weeks and already putting together some great tunes. It will take me a long time to learn all the little ins and outs of efficient track switching and putting together songs with 2 or 3 parts i.e. intro, main body, chorus and switching seamlessly between the parts but so far so good. I believe my guitar playing has already improved by being able to play along with the RC 300 on all the different parts of my compositions. The effects are good but I am mainly only using reverb, chorus, and delay for the acoustic stuff I am doing but flanger and phaser and heavy distortion don't sound that good on acoustic and aren't really in my bag of tricks yet. The rythmn section is also very versatile but I had to buy a couple FS6 foot switches to get a little more functionality to switch between beats and change effects. Highly recommend this machine.

A superb pedal I've used to perform - and record - all of my shows since 2012.
I love this pedal and have enjoyed doing absolutely everything I could do with it artistically - for the first time, looping is an instrument unto itself, not just a gimmick. The independent transport controls for each phrase are a huge improvement over the RC-50, as is the FX pedal and the USB audio port. It's a little heavy on menu navigation for something you're supposed to operate with your feet, and it's a shame it won't output 24-bit audio like the RC-50 did, but overall it's a marvelous pedal and the best footpedal available for loopers who want to stick with hardware. This thing is the secret sauce behind all of my live recordings for the last few years. (Google me if you would like to hear this thing in action.) I would be happy to answer anybody's questions about it - I'm not connected to the company in any way, just love this thing.

Settings, settings
The default configuration is not optimal ; takes a bit of tweaking to find comfort & propagate settings to all memories. Although it is over 4 years old it is still "new" tech and has needs to be broken in more. No way to adjust balance of left and right instrument plugs; needs EQ setting.

Excellent tool!
This thing will do WAY more than I realized. It’s much more than just a looper. On a basic level it’s very intuitive to operate, but when you dig in, it has a ton of great features to enhance the quality of your loops. The percussion feature is great. You can adjust any of the beats to most any time to get exactly what you need to match the music. It’s very handy.

How do you connect this up?
I am a newbie, and I have purchased a Boss Amplifier Speaker (ACS-LIVE) to plug in my acoustic guitar and mic, and so I want to use this looper as well. There is absolutely NO information anywhere on how to connect this looper to my amp and every single YouTube video launches straight into how the looper works but does NOT show you how to connect up everything. PLEASE can someone explain how I set everything up. I have no clue. Thanks so much!

Best purchase I've made
This is a very useful tool for some one like myself that jousts wants to be able to perform in church with out having to need a drummer or piano. All I have is a accoustic guitar and a pedal for different sounds for layers. One thing that I do want to mention is after doing the set up with the pa I had to purchase a small mixing board for my shure sm58 mic because I wasn't getting the highs I wanted out of the rc-300 looper. But that's ok it was a 99 dollar fix and not I can add depth to my guitar with out having to add that to the mic. Other than that. Perfect. Just got to learn all the possible things that this incredible mechine can do.

Hands down the BEST LOOPER in the industry.
Hands down the best looper in the industry. One of the features I enjoy the most is the ability to use the three pedals as three different parts of a song rather than layering them. In other words, I start playing one section of the song and when I press the second pedal it stops playing what I just recorded and starts recording the second phase of the song and on to the third pedal. So I can create a verse, chorus and bridge separately and click on them on command. Its especially great for playing lead guitar anytime in the song at intervals between verse and chorus.
