We inherited two annoying yappy dogs while living in an apartment and the vibration setting on low (they were small dogs) was just right to not overdo it but catch their attention when they would bark. After a while even just the beep sound worked on them. We only had to use the static shock a couple times (static shock is the less painful shock collar). Also it fit our tiny Maltese and also around my brothers neck so wide range in size. And it wasn’t too strong for the tiny one

Pointless bark features don't work at all.

We just bought a set of these for our dogs. So far they seem to be great. Except for the fact that I do not think the anti bark function works.I have pared both collars to the control and set the sensitivity. When I scrape the back to test it does not respond. I want to like these collars as it's a great idea but I need the bark function to work.I have sent an email to the company using the address listed on the contact card in the box and have not heard back from them. That is the most disappointing aspect of it.

I love the fact that this collar is able to switch from anti bark to training collar with just the slide of a button! This is a very well made Solid remote and transmitter with rechargeable lithium batteries! I can put the remote into training mode and let my dog loose in my yard and he will not leave the yard! If I leave the house without my dog, I set it to the auto anti bark mode and that way I don't get any complaints from the neighbors about excessive barking!

I bought this collar because my dog loves to hunt and she was grabbing at poisonous buffo toads. It has probably saved her life. I also used it to teach her to come when I signal and other helpful commands. If you take the time to learn how to use it (read the directions), it is a magnificent training tool, The manufacturers offer great support services, and their warranty is solid. I'm very grateful that a friend's son recommended it to me and I highly recommend it to you.

As a dog trainer, this breaks my heart and makes me cringe. Dogs require professional obedience training using positive reinforcement, a treat, throwing a ball, or even going to the park, not negative reinforcement, which is what this device and others like it, do. It's the same as terrifying your child or screaming in their ear if they do something wrong. Causing the animal any kind of discomfort instead of building a working relationship and forever bond with your fur-baby, is shameful. If you can't spend the time and money on making your companion a Canine Good Citizen recipient, then don't bother getting them.

Great product, battery lasts a few days and the blinking green light makes it easy to spot dogs in the dark. The device can also have a white light that stays on. The only issue with this product is the collar. The collar tightening mechanism easily comes loose so, the collar can slip off if it isn't checked regularly. sewing the collar together may prevent slippage, however, make sure the animal is full grown beforehand.
