Ameristep Doghouse Run & Gun Hunting Blind | Lightweight 2 Person Ground Blind in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country, One Size

This is my third one of these (the other two were destroyed in storms). It's handy, light and easy to set up.

Product was quick to set up. Somewhat hard to lesrn how to fold.

I got the Doghouse run and gun blind and I do enjoy the light weight of it for backpacking in. The one issue though is that there are no shoot through mesh covers for the small porthole windows as was mentioned in the description. Be aware of that. I have an older regular doghouse that has the shoot through mesh on every window. This one has none anywhere. The description of this product should be changed to reflect that.

Great blind for the money. Very easy setup but folding it back up is easy if you can get the trick. I couldn't figure the trick out by reading the directions but after going to YouTube I caught on pretty easy. Great value. I set it up and sprayed it with atsko silicone spray and let dry before folding it back up. It's ready to go and I'll be back for couple of more.

So let’s just say I have never been deer hunting so I was for sure skeptical about the entire process, but I ordered this blind and it was great. My husband and I both fit nicely in the blind with folding camping chairs and so we have been very pleased and we stayed rather warm with both of us being inside the blind and we went out on some really cold days on the mountain. Excellent purchase and very pleased.

The blind works OK and is easy to setup/takedown, but the support poles are flimsy & one broke the 3rd time I used it. You can purchase a replacement but the shipping charge is twice the cost of the replacement pole, so you're better off buying a better blind that will hold up to more use.

This blind is very small. No way 2 people are using this at the same time. Height of roof and height of windows will require you to sit on a chair. You could possibly squeeze 2 chairs side by side. Love my hunting buddies, but no way I want them that close especially on day 3 of a 3 day hunt. As others have commented there are pin holes in the roof which will definitely let rain in. There is some type of thin poly coating on the inside which may help with rain. Zippers are light but sewn in well. Allows good 360 degree view. Not too bad for the money, but I don't expect it to last long term.
