Roadlens RT-101 Full HD 1080P Dash Cam Video Recording Dashboard Camera

1st off the suction cup has a 3 minute hold time then falls to the dash. Double sided velcro tape soldved this problem. 2nd top charging port does not work. 3rd book says it has a rechargable batter but as soon as you unplug it it dies. 4th it does not retain any data I've input such as time and date stamp. On a good note it captures beautiful videos so for the price I have a working dash cam. To bad it has so many faults I thought this would be a great Xmas gift idea for friends and family.

I bought 2 of these, both are garbage. First thing I noticed is they do not hold any kind of charge, I charged both for hours, 1 via the car, and the other via the computer, when you unplug/turn off car, they reset completely, date/time/settings. When plugged in through the mount it will continuously turn off and on, have to plug directly in to bottom of camera which looks tacky. Also when plugged in they cause a terrible buzzing sound through the radio. Finally only some of the files are playable, One camera only a couple files would play, the others came up corrupt, the other camera had better success, but also had several corrupt files. The files that did play looked nice, but it's hit and miss, kinda takes away from the point. Am returning both and going to try "SENWOW Full 1080P Car DVR HD Black Box Video Camera Recorder" Same price but better reviews, wish me luck,

There was no offering mounting holder for camera. I had to buy extra holding mount for the camera. I don't like it. I'd rather pay more to get all sets of the camera (including memory, camera, & holder) than buy extra thing.

The suction cup is absolutely worthless it won't hold to the window at all for more than a second. The slightest jiggle of the plug causes the unit to power off. I give it to stars because the camera otherwise appears to work fine and hey it's $15. For an $0.80 pack of zip ties and a $5 baby mirror suction cup at Walmart you can make it work.

Everything is good so far the only thing wrong with it is not charging what should I do

Only downfall is the time does not stay set. My other camera "it's a uniden camera" keeps the time when its unplugged or when the car turns off.

This dash cam worked fine for about 5 min. Then it would turn off then on, off then on and ect.. It would not keep a charge, not happy, sent it back
