Horevo Pendant Ceiling Light, White Dual-Purpose Light Fixture with Bluetooth Speaker, Music and Color Change Chandelier, Remote Control+App, 2120Lumen, Ø30cm [Energy Class A++]

This was purchased to go in a child's bedroom to give them a fun light that also gives us control over brightness etc. The bluetooth speaker is an added bonus.Generally speaking this item is good quality, the ceiling pendant has lots (too much for most rooms) of wire but it's easy to adjust the hanging height, with a small plastic screw used to grip the wire. Installation was easy, two screws into ceiling (screws and plugs included) for metal bracket and then the metal pendant screws onto that, the main body is opaque plastic and the speaker grill is metal. It won't win any awards for looks but its inoffensive and was purchased mainly for its capabilities, it certainly doesn't look cheap once installed, despite the use of plastic.Very solid once in place but I would highlight two things:1. You will likely need somebody to take the weight of the fixture while you secure onto the ceiling bracket.2. The wires are bare, you will therefore need an appropriate method of connecting your mains supply to the fixture (I used Wago lighting connectors), the fixture also has no earth wire but this is usual for fixtures that are mainly plastic and doesn't effect the CE mark.The fixture is absolutely fine to use, the remote control worked out of the box and does what you need. The only issue I have is that you are unable to select many colours using the remote (Red/Green/Blue only) and you can't adjust the brightness, this can only be done using the app.I downloaded the app recommended in the instructions (i-Lamp), it was available for the Google Play store as a validated app, so no worries there. It's actually pretty good, you control the lamp entirely through bluetooth so it doesn't link to your WiFi, this is fine for my use case but might annoy some.As a general light fixture its perfectly adequate, the white light colour spectrum is OK (would be nice if it went down to 2700K rather than 3000K as I don't like blue/white LED lights but it's acceptable at its warmest colour level), light output is very bright at 100%, probably too bright! When the light is used in colour mode then brightness is much reduced, it uses different LEDs for the colour and while you can control the brightness using the app there is a huge difference in output in colour mode, it's fine though.Finally, the speaker, there is one bug in the software of the fixture, when you first connect your phone to bluetooth then it defaults to 100% volume BUT this isn't correctly synchronised with the phone, this happens with all the Android devices I've tried so think it's likely to be just my phone. If you therefore try and reduce the volume before first playing anything, it won't work and will blast out at 100%, you can correct it by reducing the volume using the supplied remote control before playing anything but it's clearly a bug, the speaker should start at either the last used volume or at least something moderate. In quality terms it's actually pretty good, certainly good enough for a young child to dance around their bedroom to kids tunes to! Clearly it won't win any awards but its far from the very tinny tannoy style speaker I was half expecting.All told I'm more than happy with the fixture, I don't have any worries about quality, although it's only been up for a month at the time of writing so time will tell. My kid loves it!

Kid's love it, works it should and arrived on time. Yoh can have it hanging low or fixed to the ceiling.

The media could not be loaded.  Better than I thought, can control the colour via remote control or phone. And a lot other functions with sound, alarm etc.Very easy to connect to the router, my 14 years son likes it and played a lot, treated as a new toy...
