It cleans my clothes, froget saving energy or water, if it doesn't clean, why bother
The washer is fine. It was the seller A1Quil, that was the problem. Firstly, the delivered washer was dented top and front. secondly, it was a nightmare to get the seller to pick up the damaged washer (took a month). Thirdly, the seller slow walked the refund. They were difficult to deal with, tried to charge a restocking fee of $300. When finally they were forced to also refund their $300 restocking fee they tried to keep $50 back for some crazy tax. Finally, I went to Amazon and got the $50 back. I ended up buying it locally. Live and Learn. The whole thing took months to resolve.

Great washer, actually uses plenty of water!
Along with lawnmowers, gasoline cans, detergents, cars and trucks, light bulbs, pesticides, garage door openers, and many other consumer goods, modern washing machines are victims of incredibly misguided and oppressive government regulations. Just as gas cans don’t pour gas correctly and pesticides don’t work very well, most of today’s washing machines don’t get clothes clean. HE machines spray a tiny amount of water on dirty clothes, shake them around a little, fail to fully rinse, and leave clothes noticeably dirty and full of soap residue. My experience with HE machines was pretty bad, and they haven’t improved since, because THEY DON’T USE ENOUGH WATER and because hot water isn’t nearly hot enough to clean whites. Top loaders have an especially poor performance. There are a few exceptions out there, and Speed Queen is one of them (Maytag also makes similar machines). We recently bought a Speed Queen TR7003WN from a local retailer since the price was about $200 less than Amazon and because the price included delivery and setup. This machine is like a dream compared to our old HE machine, which was plagued by poor performance. In many of the HE washer’s loads there were numerous dry spots on our clothes because of insufficient water, stains simply wouldn’t come out, and the clothes had detergent residue. The Speed Queen allows us to fully fill the drum with water as hot as we want it, and uses plenty of water to rinse clothes. The clothes come out clean, just like they used to before government regulations ruined washers. It’s pretty refreshing after years of partially unwashed loads. The machine is built like a military tank and it’s made to last, including a 7-year warranty. We’ll never, ever buy an HE machine again. A few drawbacks, though…obviously the price is pretty high, and I was a little disappointed in the smallish drum size. The fabric softener dispenser is a little difficult to remove and clean. Still, the higher price is worth cleaner clothes and dependability. You never know when another onslaught of ridiculous government regulations will cause these machines to become extinct forever, so if you’re in the market for a washer, consider the TR7003WN while you still can buy it. It’s worth it.

Died under warranty-Took forever to get it fixed
We love this washer, or did until it died in the middle of a load of towels and dirty diapers! We tried unplugging it, flipping the breaker, etc--but there was not a sound or a blinking light anywhere. Then it was locked shut and we had to buy a tool to get it open. That was two months ago--we have been borrowing friends' washers for all that time! We did not buy the through Amazon; we bought it locally from an appliance store which services their own products. We have bought most of our appjicanced there. This time, however, due to COVID/being short-handed on repair people, it took 6 weeks to get someone to just come out and look at it. Then it took another 6 weeks to get the new control panel here and get it fixed. No one else in town would touch it because it is under warranty and only 1.5 years old. I wish I had looked at reviews here before we bought it. Our first Speed Queen--and probably our last!

Did not buy from Amazon but wanted to leave a review
I bought the commercial washer and dryer from a local family store. I read that the reviews were wonderful, strong, long life machines so I went out searching. Again the sales guy said top rated machine however there is no warranty bc they don't break. I believed it. Bought them. Came home, hooked up and won't start. They came out and fixed it. Then I noticed after the wash my fabric softener was then being dispersed after the wash was done so I figured out it wasn't going into the second rinse. I called them and it was around Christmas time so I understood I had to wait. I found out that both cycles worked on another setting. Also the dryer half dries the clothes on 50 minutes. I've had washers and druers my whole life and this is the first time I've had a problem with anyone of them. I wish I could leave a review on the actual speed queen site.

Love it. Clean towels!
I love this washing machine. The first autofill was a bit low, but didn't happen again. Actual hot water! I didn't know most newer machines never give you more than warm. I've had makeup stains on a light towel for years, and this machine took it off first time I used it. My old towels are soft and fluffy again. I can fit more towels in the washing machine than the 6 year old samsung dryer I didn't replace. May have to go back and get the matching dryer. So glad to be rid of my front loading washing machine. Bought the TR7, was considering the TC5- but wanted more control over water level. They're only making these two right now.Edit: I didn't realize that after the washer fills on autofill that it swishes everything around and fills it up more if it senses that it needs it. I'm very impressed with this feature.I also love the long soak cycles. This alone makes the tr7 worth it. I can put it on a 10 hour soak and wake up to freshly clean, stain free laundry. I've used this for whites and kids' shoes with oxiclean with excellent results.
