Solid and wide
These are great. They are wide, they are solid. The handle locks in upright position and easily releases when you press down on it. We use them in a salon and they are perfect.

4 GREAT DUST PANS WITH HANDLES - 2 WERE WELDED TOGETHER
I received the set of 6 LobbyMaster Dust pans with handles and I am very happy with 4 of them.I use them inside the house and also outside the house to clean up the driveway. They are the best lobby dust pans with handles I have found. The only problem is that 2 of the Dust pans appeared to be permanently welded together.I tried everything to pry them apart. No luck.. I finally threw the 2 away.Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

This is a cheap knock off of a much better dustpan. The latching system is weak and fails to lock reliably. The reason for the latch has to do with storing this dustpan in a flat position. When collecting dirt the latch should not fail to hold the tray in position so a person can sweep up dust and dirt and dump it into a trash receptacle with ease. The design used to latch the pan is very poorly designed and can be expected to fail once the tiny plastic latching nubs are worn off.The other problem was the condition of the equipment when it arrived. The original box was inside a new box because the old on disintegrated in transit. Of the six dust pans two were destroyed. The pans were inserted inside of each other so firmly it took a large screwdriver to pry them apart. The four that did survive sort of work but with the poor latching design rendered them almost completely useless. The sticks sent have a clamp on the plastic handle that is for a broom to be attached and cannot be removed because it is part of the handle. That makes the handle very hard to grasp. They reimbursed me in full for my trouble and permitted me to dispose of the items as I see fit.
