I really enjoy cooking and I’m good at it but I struggle with arthritis. A knife to me has to be sharp, functional and add to the experience. This does all of that making my life was easier and is a joy to use. I love the sharpness, the balance and the design on the blade is excellent.

When ordered this, I had ordered a dalstrong shadow black vegetable knife. So i have tested both. Excepting the building flaws, the dalstrong knife had difficulties cutting onions, peppers, potatoes,etc. and was bulky. Now when i first hold the Hajegato knife, I fall inlove. Good quality, easy holding, razor blade sharp, nice and comfy. The cut is is made easy and clean. And also balanced. The blade guard is also taking care of your knife , being made of plastic on exterior and plush/velvety on interior (it won’t scratch your blade). I recommend it. Now i save money to buy another two.P.s.I am a Chef !

I work as a chef and due to this I'm constantly on the hunt for reliable knives for work. I'm had this knife for a week now and can say I'm very impressed with its versitily and design. No job is too big or small and is yet to dull even a little bit as I use it 12 hours a day.I would highly recommend giving these knives a chance as it's a good price for what you get in return.

I was a little disappointed with the handles.I had expected much more colourful and varied.As for comfort and usability they are fantastic.

Very pleased with this knife such a nice handle and blade.Well balanced and an absolute pleasure to use it has fast become my favourite knife.Good utility knife can do larger jobs like jointing a chicken with ease or small intricate turn veg I've been a chef for 36 years and this knife is worth twice the money I'm looking forward to buying more of these makes working in a kitchen very enjoyable

Bought a set of knives for a wedding present, only to realise how blunt mine were, that’s when I came across this beautiful looking Japanese knife. Love the pattern on the blade and the way it reacts to sunlight, the handle is amazing too, great workmanship. Have it on a magnetic knife holder so I can admire it, while working in the kitchen. Don’t think I need to use it, as I manage to replace my blunt knives with some new working ones from Amazon. Saw another couple of these Japanese knives from another website that I would like to get. Sorry Amazon, but they are a lot cheaper than the one I bought from you. And they were definitely the same knifes for just under £30.

I bought this knife for my partners birthday, he loves cooking and loves his knives even more. This knife is perfect! It’s well balanced and absolutely stunning. The blade its self is incredibly sharp and glides perfectly through any food item. My partner couldn’t be any happier and is finding any excuse to use it any chance he gets.
