I set out to make a holster that would fit and function flawlessly and sold at the lowest price possible. We experimented for several weeks and finally settled on this design which I have appropriately named the Thirty-Dollar IWB Holster because is sells for $30.00! It’s simple, durable, no-nonsense, minimal, lightweight, low profile and, yet, extremely effective! Here are some of the features you should know, it’s made of very thin Kydex, easily concealed with the only part showing being a small hook that loops under your belt to secure it in place. It’s very light weight – approximately 2 ounces overall. There are no moving parts….it’s very simple! I’m sure you’ll find that this is a great value and, for the money, one of the best holsters available.

Works for PF940c
Used for a PF940c. For the simple design and the price, this holster is pretty much perfect. There are much better holsters out there—they start at over twice the price. I did use a lighter to lightly heat up the bottom edge at the barrel and the top edge where the slide release hits, and then jammed the pistol into it, then repeated that several times. Before that the pistol didn’t slide down far enough to correctly fit—now it fits perfect. Also used a knife to open it up at the slide catch (mine is extended). It is fits perfect and has great retention that is very adjustable using the adjustment screw (which is there but not pictured in the product image).

No retention
First off, I'm a big fan of Lenny Magill's Glock Store and have bought parts from them for several yrs.However, this holster was a disappointment. There is no retention of the G42 and I don't think I should have to fix it. Like other reviewers have mentioned a retention screw would help.

When I received the holster I was concerned as there was hardly any weapon retention. I definitely would be concerned with carrying while running or going over something like R.R. tracks on my motorcycle. Others may not find this to be an issue, I did. After studying how another one of my holsters worked I solved the issue with this one.By using a high heat hair drier and a teaspoon I was able to heat the forward area of the trigger guard until it was pliable while the unloaded weapon was in place. At that point I pushed the bottom nose of the spoon down creating a one direction ridge that grabs the guard. After cooling, the weapon now snaps in and out of the holster. Retention greatly increased. I now have confidence that the weapon will stay in place and the holster is much more comfortable than another IWB that I was using.

Great holster.
Very good holster at a great price. Some reviews indicated a lose fit. I did not see that at all. The pistol fits very snuggly and will not slip out when the holster is upside down and shaken. There is also a tension adjustment if it loosens up over time.

Pinches on the hips but that being said I’m an owb guy. Well made easy in out of the weapon.

Tension is loose, and even after heating and reforming holster, it still won't hold pistol securely. Needs a second grommet close to trigger guard area.
