excellent
NeilMed’s Sinus Rinse Starter Kit is one of those simple, unglamorous health purchases that ends up becoming a staple. The squeeze bottle design is easier and gentler than a traditional neti pot, and the pre-measured saline packets take all the guesswork out of mixing. With sterile or boiled water, it delivers a smooth, low-pressure rinse that clears out pollen, dust, mucus, and postnasal drip without the burn you sometimes get from homemade mixes. It’s drug-free, safe to use daily, and especially helpful if you struggle with allergies, sinus infections, or dry winter air. Cleaning the bottle is straightforward, though you do have to be disciplined about washing and replacing it regularly. Some users note ear pressure or prolonged nose-blowing afterward, but that seems to be more common with people who have significant sinus issues. The kit comes with just five packets, so you’ll quickly want to order refills in bulk. Still, for around $13 it’s a cost-effective way to breathe easier and avoid unnecessary medications. Bottom line: A reliable, easy-to-use sinus rinse system that’s worth keeping in the bathroom cabinet year-round.

A Vôtre Santé!
This is not a paid review or a commercial. My mathematics professor told me his wife had similar health issues and recommended I clean out my sinuses. I tried a neti pot and it was really irritating. I tried a cold sinus spray can and boy was that a bad experience. This one was much more gentle for me. Taking care to do things like this take discipline. You get used to it like you get used to brushing your teeth. Cleaning, sanitizing, heating, yes you have to do it all and it can feel annoying but it doesn't take too long and it's worth the effort. I love it! Even if you don't have respiratory or sinus issues, think about all the crud flying up your nose all day!! Don't you want to clean that out?? It really really does you good! This tidbit might seem redundant but let me tell you folks... I once caught a guy straddling two lanes and was wondering what the heck he was so distracted by. You know what he was doing? Picking his nose while looking into his mirror. Man! Ew! Don't put all those germs up your nose! Take care of your beautiful noses, please. I grew up as a kid with pretty bad asthma, chronic bronchitis, allergies, and sinusitis. My sinus cavities got so infected I have permanent ear scarring and partial hearing damage. Since I didn't have much of a choice in taking care of my health when I was young (I wasn't well taken care of by the adults in my life back then, had malnutrition and all kinds of issues), I take full responsibility now. In about six years, I gradually saw an improvement in my health by a tapering off of my lung and sinus infections from up to four times a year, then to three times in a year, then down to to, and now I had bronchitis for the first time in fourteen months. I hardly ever have to take antibiotics anymore. All I do is use eat healthy, use this Neilmed Sinus rise, use a saline nasal moisturising gel, saline spray, take a Chinese herbal remedy called nin jiom pei pa koa (loquat, honey, and fritillary herbal syrup, quite tasty really! I just eat it with a spoon), and train the heck out of myself. I went from taking twenty minutes to jog a mile to running a mile in 10:36 after a year's worth of training and self care.

Sinus Rinses Work! Just don’t use tap water
This product works well, as do off brand versions, but you can’t go wrong with the original. Sinus rinses have helped me keep away sinus infections, shorten current ones by 2-6 days, and have helped me breathe better. If you suffer from allergies or a deviated septum and haven’t tried sinus rinses, you should! It can change your life and squash colds before they become a huge issue. Sinus drainage can also cause wet coughs, so this could help prevent/ ease coughing as well! I personally prefer this squeeze bottle to the original pot design, it’s easier for me, more portable, and less cumbersome. You don’t have to tilt your head or anything. I also like cleaning this more, I think it’s easier as I just take it apart (cap, tube, bottle) and can get to all the crevices. Also dries pretty fast that way. This is the best deal I could find online, it came with 6 packets instead of 5 and worked just fine. Glad it came in 2 days! I will say that you can probably find a similar product cheaper, most likely in store. They had “yeti” pots at dollar tree for awhile that worked just as well. However, be sure to compare prices because CVS’s off brand is around $10, which is $3-4 more expensive than this one (however cheaper than their name brand neti pot). If you haven’t figured it out yet, drug stores are usually more expensive than other stores like Walmart. I’ve also heard that you can make your own saline solution with baking soda and salt, but haven’t tried that. Just be sure to boil your water - don’t use tap water! People have gotten infections that way. Happy rinsing!

Terrific
Terrific bottle for nasal rinse. My allergist gives it to me for free. I like this so much I've bought it for other friends suffering from allergies. It works better than a Nettie Pot because it holds more distilled water and you can control the flow better by the soft squeeze of the bottle. It's easy to clean with a drop of dish liquid and rinse with tap water thoroughly. Put it on a drying rack up-side-down and it's ready for use again. When dry, assemble it and store right-side-up in a cool dry space. It is recommended that you change out the bottle every 3 months, but I've used mine for a year before changing to a new one. You don't have to use the packet that comes with the bottle. My allergist gave me a recipe for the saline solution: use a clean 1 cup glass measuring cup, 1/2 teaspoon of non-iodized salt, a large pinch of baking soda (like Arm and Hammer baking soda) for buffering the saline, and 1 cup of distilled water (do not use tap water due to microorganism can harm you), and microwave for 25 seconds on high (depends on microwave wattage - mine is about 1200 watts, and your prefer warmth level). Works like a charm!

I have been using the NeilMed system for quite a few years now. I use it twice daily and can honestly say I don't get colds or flu. I swear by this system as it's easy to use, holistic & products are of a good quality.

Einziger "Kritikpunkt": Bin erst jetzt darauf aufmerksam darauf geworden.

I had severe sinus blockage which dint even go away with antibiotics. I had severe dry blocked nose. This is helping me truly. Don't be scared to try it. It is not as scary as it looks like. In fact it is fun. Lol.
