Highly inaccurate and super fussy
In comparison to a calibrated tympanic thermometer, and a much cheaper infrared thermometer I've found this to be an incredible disappointment.Given how fussy it is in terms of placement and distance, you'd hope it's doing this for accuracy.But it gives reading numbers that are way off. Or just constant gives errors. Or numbers that are several degree differences from each other.It's also just really poor in design. The cover just comes off. There's no secure attachment and it just wants to come off.I can't believe this was made by Braun.I really would not recommend getting this at all.

Inaccurate
Inaccurate and therefore unreliable, Constantly measures between 0.5 and 1.5 degrees above actual temperature as measured by an accurate medical grade in-ear thermometer. Would not recommend.

Inconsistent readings
This is fairly useless. Every reading gives a different temperature seconds apart. Impossible to rely upon.

Buy something else
Rubbish. The readings are all over the place . We thought it’s was because we was using it on our new born baby but it was the same on adults too. Save your money buy something else !! Ended up been referred to the hospital to find out everything was ok .

Expensive and doesn’t work
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Thermometer constantly shows error message when switched on, only works if ‘warmed up’ by putting it under my arm before switching it on. I had Covid so monitoring my temperature was very important. Would not buy again or recommend. Waste of money
