GardenaOS 140 pop-up rectangular sprinkler: sprinkler system for square and rectangular areas up to 140 m² in size, fitted flush to the ground (8223-20)

It works really well and does exactly what it's supposed to. It's well built and i'm sure will last.A few frustrations frustrations:-1) It needs the 25mm connection pipes. I already had laid 13mm pipe and have loads of this stuff, needed to order the 25mm stuff.2) It needs a Gardena 25mm x 3/4-inch L-Piece Male Thread connector to screw into the bottom. Really annoyingly the part isn't included in the box and while the instructions contain a picture for installation, the part number isn't referenced, I accidentally ordered the 1/2 inch one.3) It needs the drainage valve to be frost free install (important in the UK)It works really well and am pleased, however the item isn't cheap (~£50) but adding on the required accessories etc brings it nearer to double the price which I wish I'd known before ordering. I might have considered something else.I will order another as we have an L-shaped lawn and 2 will cover the whole area. Having seen 1 in operation I'm confident that the water pressure is good enough to manage more than 1.

I'm not sure about this now. It came with minimal instructions. My lawn is approx 9x12 metres, I am not convinced it will cover it all. I'm worried about testing it because then I can't return it. How deep do the pipes for it need to be buried under new turf? If anyone has any advice, please share tips.

I tried to post earlier. Advertised product is supposed to include a sprinkler but I received a shell alone. No response from manufacturer and Amazon hasn't been helpful as well. I am rating this as 1 star because you need a sprinkler to use it. I got a shell without a sprinkler. For the price, I was expecting better.
