Helps calm me down..I jokingly refer to it as my "em-BALM-ing ffluid"..
A number of years ago, a co-worker was ranting so hard about her mother-in-law and how she needed to "chill" just thinking about her, so I brought this out of my bag and told her to try it. She was so impressed that she ordered some for herself!Anyway, it just takes the edge off.I had forgotten all about it, shoved to the back of the cupboard, and last night I was so very, very outraged over something that that I just wanted something to calm me down as my blood pressure was getting MUCH too high. It definitely helped to calm me down and some of the anxiety along with it. I like it, and it achieves what I expect it to, so I'm actually reordering another bottle.

It has a mild sedative effect. Dr. Oz said it was like Valium; it was not, as far as I am concerned.

Wish I could rave about this stuff
My friend told me about lemon balm and said it was something that she added to her water and she found it relaxed her, helped her sleep and kept her from getting overstressed. Wish I could say the same. I was really hoping for the same affects but I guess everyone's physiology is different and it just didn't have the same affect on me. I found it did absolutely nothing for me -- zip, zero, nada -- but maybe it will work for you like it does my friend so don't let my review dissuade you from giving it a try.

love this and its benefits
Lemon balm is great for a multitude of things. I add this to a glass of water almost daily. You can also add a little directly on skin (including cold sores).
