Good quality alternative to OEM
This radiator fit perfectly in a 1999 Toyota Landcruiser. It is actually a Koyorad and came in a Koyorad box, inside a plain brown box. The price was great (less than half the price of an OEM radiator) and it was easy to install. The radiator arrived in 2 days with Prime shipping and was well packaged and undamaged, and appears to be well constructed.

Run away. This radiator is junk!
Looking to replace the leaking radiator in my 1999 Lexus LX470. I should of known this radiator was sub-standard when I inspected the transmission line connectors. The design is not up to Lexus or Toyota standards and the fittings are too long and interfere with the install and fit. However, I was in a hurry and decided to move forward with the install. Next problem, the radiator's side mounting bolts are a little to wide. Just a little, but it requires me to enlarge the holes on the mounting brackets about 1/32". Still, not a major flaw, so I pressed forward. Last item to install before refilling the coolant is the radiator overflow tank. It mounts on both the fan shroud and a small tab welded to the radiator. Unfortunately, a flaw in the radiator's design will not allow me to mount both bolts. One or the other, but not both. Either the mounting tab is too low or the fan shroud mounts are too high. Can't risk only using one mount as the tank is plastic and will eventually crack if not secured. So, out comes the new radiator and back to Amazon it goes. Amazon return process was great. Lost a few bucks in postage, but the lost time and delay in the vehicle repair was costly. Ordered a Denso replacement radiator from Amazon. $30 more, but the quality is much much better. Perfect fit and I can't tell the difference between the OEM Toyota and the Denso replacement radiator.

great fit SAME AS OEM
Perfect fit and looks exactly like the old and maybe from the same manufacturer ; came complete with hose connections for the transmission cooler. Shipping pretty fast from DFW area via FEDEX Ground and no damage from the FEDEX gorillas. Mine old one (214,000+ miles) is leaking from the top tank attaches to the tubes there is a o-ring that swells after all of the heating and cooling cycles. Fits Lexus 2000 LX470 no problem; Good idea to replace upper and lower hoses at the same time. The box that it came in was well packaged and protected from damage. Will update after a month or so.

2006 LX470 with minor issues.
06LX470 install: I didn’t get the koyo rad box like some did…instead I got TYC radiator box. Install went smooth. Most important were the 4 main bolts and mounting brackets. They transferred over to the new TYC rad easily and install went in fine. The bottom coolant nipples were a bit longer on mine but fit just fine.Replaced with upper and lower hoses, oem thermostat, and new rad cap.Only issue I encounter was the reservoir tank. It took awhile to mount the two bolts but I was able to manage it. Holes didn’t really line up but I didn’t see too many stress on the tank.So far so good and no leaks. Old oem radiator wasn’t leaking but preventative maintenance due to it coming up on 210k.

Will not buy a TYC radiator again
Shipping was fast and packaging was good. Radiator wasn't damaged in shipping and it holds coolant and that's about all I can say nice about the radiator I received for my 99LX470. The lower mounts that have to be transferred over from the old radiator didn't quite line up with the studs on the side of the TYC radiator. So I had to "egg" the holes on my brackets for them to fit. Then the transmission cooler nipples are about 3inchs long and I had a rough time getting the fan shroud over them to install it. Then the mount for the overflow tank didn't line up and I had to "egg" the mounting holes on my tank. I definitely will not be buying anything from TYC in the future. I'm already thinking about getting a different radiator to have on hand. I'm fairly certain that this radiator won't last long if this is the kind of quality of their products

Perfect Replacement for my 1999 Land Cruiser
I have to admit I was a little skeptical after reading the couple of negative reviews, but I have zero complaints about the product I received. It sounds like the negative review received the wrong radiator. The new radiator came in a box with the KOYORAD name all over it so I'm assuming it is a KOYO radiator as others have mentioned. According to KOYORAD's website, their radiators are designed in Japan and built in China and Indonesia in proprietary factories. I'm expecting typically fantastic Japanese quality control. The packaging was hammered, but the radiator was basically unscathed (I've never seen a perfect radiator, the fins are so soft that there's always a few slightly bent). After removing the old radiator, the new one fit perfectly in its place. The old radiator had foam strips across the top and down the sides, apparently to cushion the radiator against the other components? I'm guessing I would have been fine not using them, but since I had a can of spray adhesive handy I glued them to the new radiator (careful of course to block off the fins to keep from getting glue on them). The new radiator has all the requisite bolt holes in all the right places and feels and looks to be of similar quality to the original (which lasted 228k miles). No leaks and it works perfectly. Rest assured that I'll update this review if the thing blows up on me.
