Scientific Explorer Ultimate Spa'mazing Kit

This pocket was a blast to do with my kids. My girls (6 & 9) love doing the spa day activities and it was a great way to spend time together and pamper ourselves. It's also a great way to subtly introduce science Concepts and math concepts as they measure out ingredients. Just make sure you have plenty of towels!

My daughter loves this thing. We make all sorts of goops and glops and sticky messes that I guess you put on your face or in the bath. Fun for a girl who enjoys learning about science in a girly way (and that's completely okay).

This was a birthday present for my daughter, and since we have made these type of products before, I expected to get a lot of use out of it. This is a great kit if you have not made these products before, or if you don't have the basic ingredients already. Since I have baking soda, oatmeal, European clay, citric acid and salt in my cupboards already (and the kit comes with about $5 worth of these ingredients) and keep essential oils (the oils in the kit are synthetic- maybe $3 worth) the only benefits are the jars and directions. It would be great for a little girl's party, if you get extra jars (the kit comes with maybe four 1 ounce jars and two 4 ounce jars).

I thought this would have been a great gift idea and activity for my daughter and her friend but package was expired almost a year so I sent it back, I even ordered one from Target and that one had the same exp date also so I sent that one back too and just ordered something else. I gave at least 3 stars because we didn't even get to try it out.

Got this for my daughter for a Christmas present. She loves science (and mixing things)--so I thought this would be perfect. Turns out it is. She of course wants me to smell her concoctions as soon as she makes them. They do smell perfectly girly. This is a great gift.

I bought this for my little sisters for Xmas (as well as three other Scientific Explorer products) because I thought it was such a great way to expose them to science in a fun way. I received this today (12/7/16) and fortunately my girlfriend noticed the product expired (9/16). I would have given this to my sister's without a second thought, so they can either (1) be disappointed and think science is "stupid" or (2) have some expired product to rub on themselves. Not pleased at all (though the product does look cool)

I bought this kit for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. She loves it! We had foot soaks one evening and she is also looking forward to doing facial masks, body soaks and perfumes. There are many ingredients included for them to use to make a lot of things. I was very pleased with all the capabilities of this product! It does require adult supervision but my daughter was very pleased with it and excited about doing many of the scientific products with my granddaughters!

Bought this as a special present for my 9 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loves science and really enjoyed making the items in the kit, and gave one as a gift to her friend.
