My cattle dogs had all the spines eaten the first hour. Had to take it away as they were ripping it open a few minutes later. If your dog is not an aggressive chewer, this might work for you.

This toy has lived up to the durability claim. I bought a couple Tuffy toys at the same time and both are still alive and well a month later, and I have 2 boxers.

Tuffy products are my dogs favorite. Maybe mien are just chewers, but they destroy these in about 3 days (stuffing and squeekers ripped out, bit areas chewed apart. Material is strong but not harsh on their mouth (like fire hose toys). Stuffing stays together for easy cleanup and is fluffy enough to avoid them eating it. Squeezers come out cleanly once they chew through.I order them a few every year for Xmas or their birthday.

I'm starting to wonder if these Tuffy toys are a farce. The lions, tigers, and bears they show in their videos must be a bunch of toothless, clawless animals. Two creatures, pit and 9 month lab/pit made this and warthog look like destroyed underwear in just a few days. Stuffing was out in 5 minutes, head off in 10. This gila was the fastest, most surprising beating of a Tuffy, but the stuffing is out in 5 minutes for any of these, including Rex. Heartbreaking to watch it the first 1 or two times, then you wonder.
