Collected Stories: D.H. Lawrence (Everyman's Library) Hardcover – May 10, 1994

I was amazed at what a great condition this book was in. When I saw that the price was much lower than what other sellers were pricing it as, I thought I was taking my chances. But when I received the book it was in perfect condition, and being a book collector that means a lot to me. Not to mention, that it's getting harder and harder to find good copies of Lawrence's works, which is a shame. This will complete my D.H. Lawrence collection. Thank you so much!

Lawrence was a master of the short story form and he used the genre as a laboratory for his great novels. Essential reading of one of the masters of 20th century writers.

Good Irish stories

I will be using this book to sponsor an elderhostel-style gathering of seniors who share a love of Ireland and of literature. I needed a hardcover copy that will hold up over the decade or two I may be doing this, and this copy fits the bill. Except for the dustjacket holes and tears (in the book biz condition is everything) it is in near-perfect shape. It arrived quickly and without incident, and is as described. I would order again anytime from this bookseller.

Great short story writer ... he brings you right into Ireland. There are a lot (too many) stories about young women who make romance extremely difficult ... just being difficult to the nth degree to any beau who may be interested.
